Curious if nose jobs are allowed to be performed on someone of 15-16 years of age. Would a good surgeon be willing to perform on someone that young?
Answer: Rhinoplasty Dear Victoria 21211Thanks for the question. As the nose is still growing up to around 17-18 years of age I advise my patients to have rhinoplasty surgery after this age. I wish you all the best.

Answer: Rhinoplasty age... Typically, we wait until a girl is 15 1/2 or a boy is 16 1/2 for rhinoplasty. By that time most, if not all of the nasal growth is complete, and rhinoplasty will have no long term effects if done properly. Just as important as the age is the maturity of the teenager. As long as the surgery is being done for the right reasons and he/she understands the risks, then it can be a great procedure. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

Answer: Youngest age for Rhinoplasty I generally perform nasal surgery on female patients who are at least 16, although the minimum age for male patients is a bit higher. This is due to the age at which the nose finishes growing, and growth spurts can affect the shape and results of the nose.

Answer: Age limit for rhinoplasty Developmentally, girls can undergo a rhinoplasty as early as the age 15 and boys as early as 18 years old. These reflect the ages when growing slows for girls and boys respectively, which is also indicated by not growing taller, shoe size remaining constant, etc. However, emotional maturity plays a large role in deciding at what age a person is ready to undergo a rhinoplasty or any other procedure. When making big decisions that will permanently alter the way you look, it is important to understand the outcomes of such big procedures.
