How long after alar plasty can I repeat it?

Question

I had alar and tip plasty 15 days ago ! Nose is still swollen but the shape of my nostrils didn't change its surly smaller but it looks exsctly like before .. How can I make my nostrils smaller ? He removed 4 mm can I ask him to remove more ? Do you charge your patients if they ask for a small change like revision for alar plasty ? How long after the first alar reduction can I repeat it ?

Thank you for your inquiry and I am sorry for your current
situation.I usually recommend my
patients wait about 6 months before considering a revision to an alarplasty
just because you want to give the nose enough time to completely heal.In terms of the cost, that is specific to
each individual doctor.I don’t usually
charge in cases like this because oftentimes the revision can be done under local
anesthesia.I hope this helps.

Thank you very much for enquire.It's too early to make value judgments with only 2 weeks after a rhinoplasty.Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.After 6 months we can talk about revision.Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Waiting 3-6 months is the best time to allow the tissue and scar mature. 4 mm of alar reduction is a big reduction. Advice on the topic is difficult without pictures and detail physical exam.Finally, make sure that your doctor is
