I'm a 21 yo female. I think my face looks gaunt and I would like to get cheek fillers to improve the look of my facial structure. I'm trying to get an idea of how many syringes of Voluma would be required to make my cheeks fuller so that I can estimate the cost. Thank you!
Answer: Voluma has been great for mid face volume filling in my NYC practice Voluma helps rebuild the mid to higher cheek, areas that lose fat with age and weight loss. The volume loss contributes to sagging of facial features by a lack of support. In my NYC practice I evaluate all patients prior to injecting them by looking at their three dimensional topography of their face, both at rest and with their animation (speaking and moving their facial muscles). I strive to produce a natural result, one to help my patients become refreshed and to obtain the appearance they had at one time but lost, not to create a different face that won't be recognized as that person.It's not unusual that I start with half a syringe to each side of the face before starting a second syringe. In fact, many people have signficant asymmetry and need more filler on one side of their face.All patients should seek consultation with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to determine what is best for them (filler, volumizer, which type, how many syringes or vials, and price information based on the plan created for that individual).

When treating thin patients such as you the relatively small amount of product can often go a long way. I would undergo evaluation by a highly experienced board-certified specialist And to follow that physicians recommendations.
