lipo and Tummy tuck are procedures performed on the outer side of abdomen and your surgeon didn't touch the inside of abdominal cavity. You need to get a GI examination.

An abdominoplasty does not enter into the abdomen. It s only the removal of shin and fat above the abdominal wall. This would not cause diarrhea. I would consult with your medical doctor and get this evaluated.

Hello, thank you for your question. NO, there is no mechanical reason for two years of diarrhea after a tummy tuck. My advise is to seek a Gastroenterologist that would help you get that answer. Good luck

It is very important that you visit a specialist, and that you take notes and pay special attention to the foods you eat daily, taking into account that self-medication can also lead to more serious problems.

It’s highly unlikely the changes in bowl habits are related to having plastic surgery.
If you’ve not consulted with the gastroenterologist, I suggest you do that first.
I don’t think plastic surgeons are going to be helpful in regards to assessing diagnosing and treating G.I. disorders.
I suggest you talk to your primary care physician and if indicated get a referral to a gastroenterologist.
