I did a lot of research before actually going to DR for my procedure and even came on here to see past reviews for Dr Diaz so I felt obligated to share my experience for the next person. From the start my communication with his office was pretty standard and most of questions and concerns were answered before even flying out. His office set everything up for me from pick up at the airport/recovery house/and appointments/medication etc. It's scary going to another country especially because of the language barrier, however my experience the whole way through was good. Armonia recovery house was the house Diaz is linked too and I enjoyed my stay, the staff were great. As for my procedure, anyone reading this I need you to understand that going to DR where surgery is as common is buying milk from the corner store, you may feel at times you are being "rushed" or not "heard" but I guarantee you this happens to any and every one coming in and out of the Cipla building. Dr Diaz and his team were very nice people, and I wasn't expecting some extra special care because I had done enough research to understand what I was getting myself into. Please do the same thing because if you go there not knowing certain things you may be taken back by the answers you receive as being "short and/or cold" I promise you its just how it is. Diaz asked me what I wanted before surgery and boy did he give me exactly what I wanted! I love my results! He checked in on me the next day following my surgery and explained what to expect and how to take my meds etc. He also saw me one more time before flying home to check on everything and give the ok to leave. he recommended I keep my drain in to go home and even though I really didn't want to I'm glad I did. Diaz gives you the results you want and WILL NOT TOUCH YOU if your pre op tests come back with any risks. he is honest and this is the reason he has so many good reviews and repeated clients..because yes hunny I am going back for boobs ! LOL

I’m 18 days post op. I had tummy tuck,lipo 360, lipo on arms,BBL and chin lipo. My experience with Dr.Manuel Diaz Guzman was excellent. I am a very nervous person and always have question after question and till now Dr.Diaz still responding To my concerns. I have years wanted to get surgery done but because they are sometimes risk with surgery i wanted to wait for the Right doctor and after research and research i was comfortable when i chose Dr.Diaz and his staff from coordinator, to the clinic, to the assistant, and the recovery home all are excellent very professional. MY RESULTS I LIKE MY BODY HAD NO DEFINITION I WAS ALL SQUARE NO HIPS NO WAIST NO BUTT. Dr. Diaz gave me what i wanted. Waist and hips something natural the one thing my butt I hope it get a bit puffed up in a couple of months. I will definitely recommend 100% Dr.Diaz he is a safe doctor.

I had a tummy tuck, lipo to flanks and back and BBL with Dr.Diaz in November of 2021. I am extremely happy with my results. My healing time for everything has been extremely fast; My tummy is as flat as a washboard abs very defined; I have an “inny belly button” and not the strange looking belly buttons I see other people who have undergone the same surgery as me have; For my BMI being relatively low for a BBL surgery, Dr.Diaz managed to strategically place the fat in my butt so that I have the curviest body I ever could have imagined myself having. 

Dr Guzman from the very beginning was very professional, always answered my emails within 24 hours . I was impressed with his attention to detail and safety , while still trying to accommodate his patients wishes . For example I asked him to remove the fat from my “ buffalo hump” which isn’t something that is usually preformed , however he made an exception and did it .. beautifully I might add . I was extremely happy with my results and from the package I received from Dr Manuel Guzman . The staff were very attentive and took extra care to make my daughter and I feel comfortable and happy from the very beginning . Both my daughter and I had tummy tucks with muscle repair and 360 lipo . I also had lipo on my chin and back and front of thighs as well as back of arms and buffalo hump ! All for 7400 Canadian . The doctor had set us 20 massage sessions that were included in our package . They definitely helped with the recovery process . The doctor was always concerned with our recovery and had communication with the therapist , and often order special creams ( if needed) to help with the lipo recovery . He was kind supportive , spoke perfect English and above all an outstanding surgeon that did incredible work ! My scar is so smooth and I was impressed because I usually have raised scarring . I have been home now for 3 months and I still have regular communication with the doctor , when we left got the airport the doctor wrote us a letter which when presented to the airlines provided us with wheelchair service ( front of every line ) until we arrived at our final destination! That was a bonus for sure !

We stayed at Rosa Hermosa recovery house , which was wonderful ! The staff went out of their way to accommodate all of our wishes from cooking the meal with variations and extra stops the driver made on the way home from our hospital appointments.
The nurses were excellent and the care they provided was professional with a caring approach !

I’m 22 and scheduled my BBL & BA appointment with Dr Manuel Diaz for April 23rd!
My flight is April 20th at 12:15 am so I’ll be getting there the 20th at 9pm.
I’m super excited to go to the Dominican Republic , just really scared for the pain - I have a low pain tolerance. I will post pictures and updates with all my hotel review/any answers you all have/& overall experience. Just figured I’d start the thread off because I will be giving updates.
I have to stop taking my vitamins/iron pills etc 2 weeks pre op which is V soon. I will update everyone soon! Xo

I’m going to start by saying when I got here yesterday for my labs which was Sunday (dr Manuel Diaz was it in)
The only man who spoke English (didn’t care to get his name even though I should’ve” already started off rude. I said “hello! Does anyone speak English?”
They point at the guy who does, he says “no I do not speak English” they all laugh. Then asks “what do you need”
That made me feel awkward, he was rolling his eyes etc already!
I came there for LABS. He asked me, “am seeing the cardiologist as well” (Dr’s assistant didn’t inform me about that so I wasn’t sure , she just said ‘go Sunday for labs’ I reach out and ask her, she says yes. He tells me I need to go to get X-rays and see the cardiologist. I do both. I ask him once where do I go exactly he says 3rd floor and walks away from me... I try to get his attention down the hall way he ignores. I ask again he says “third floor X-ray - then you’ll make a right to the nurses office” I asked him times where do I go?
When I got in today he blamed ME for not going to the labs! Dr Manuel Diaz says “where’s your lab paperwork- I said I gave it to the nurse.
Other guy (English speaking man) comes in yelled and makes a hand gesture of “oh my goodness” he yells and says “why did you not go to the labs I told you to go to the labs!!” I said I clarified three times with you! You said 3rd floor!! He now tells me “go to second floor to get your blood drawn..... how dare he blame me - he never sad anything about the 2nd floor during my visit alone. He was rude and looked like he wasn’t happy to help me!
(Forgot to mention Sunday I asked if he can call me a taxi because I don’t speak Spanish. He said “call Uber” I told him .... my Uber is not working can you call me a taxi please” he rolls his eyes and does so. Taxi never came -I downloaded a Spanish app that’s similar to Uber called cabify)
Just super disappointed with being only 22 with my 22 year old boyfriend -we only speak English and they try to make it seem as nice and welcoming as possible when I fact multiple times they made me very uncomfortable..... this is not about my Doctor Manuel Diaz Guzman.. only about staff here... not the most welcoming it actually hurt my feelings to see this.

9 days post op I almost feel completely healed. I just wanted to add I saw dr Manuel Diaz today and I loved him! I got to see my final breast augmentation results with the bandages off, and they look amazing. I love my body. I love my butt. He was super sweet and I appreciate his welcoming sweet demeanor. I would recommend him as a doctor to anybody!????
If you’re American, it would be best if you know Spanish. I will say the first day I met the staff I wasn’t pleased at all, in fact I was quite disappointed. But today there were different staff in and everyone seemed less stressed, more helpful and happy.. I’m very pleased! ????

Dr. Díaz is an excellent plastic surgeon. He listens to you, he’s kind , have wonderful “bedside manner”. After my surgery, he fallow up every day, made me feel confortable till the day I left. I’m very happy with results!

Hey everyone! I'm currently looking into doctors for a breast lift/small implant. I've always been large chested, so the whole big boobs thing isn't necessarily the look I'm going for, I just want a perkiness back (child bearing and breast feeding will totally rob you and "the girls" of your look), so I'm going to do it now! I'm really leaning towards Dr. Manuel Diaz, I went to him a few years back for the BBL, and he is AWESOME! My results are still great to this day and I love how professional and helpful he and his team are. I really felt safe with him, and looking at some pics, he does good lifts as well....so I emailed for a quote, and the BL/BA will be around 3,000 or 4,000 with the entire hospital package. That's an AWESOME price either way. I don't know if I want to risk staying in a recovery home, but staying in the hospital IS very boring at times (from past experience) but I like the feeling of having staff around all the time. So now I just have to send in my deposit, and figure out WHEN to do this! I'm hoping sooner than later, but we will see! I'll keep you guys updated! NEW BOOBS SOON! hahaha :)

so, I contacted Dr. Diaz and with just Breast lift/augmentation, it will be $3,000 (that includes massages, all necessary tests, one day in clinic, massages. IF I want to do the full package which would include transportation to and from the airport, 8 days stay, medication after the operation and the nurse for one night, it will be $3000.
I HAVE been to Dr. Diaz before for the BBL, so I'm very excited! I just don't know if I should stay in the clinic or try to do an Airbnb and just pay for a nurse to come there....decisions decision! That's something I'll have to decide and soon! I'm trying to go down to DR at the end of March/beginning of April, so we will see! When I'm down there I also plan on getting a root canal and 8 top veneers with Dr. Beltre, so I will have to schedule that before the surgery. I'm so excited, anyone have any recommendations for nurses, in case I take the Airbnb route? I also have to start ordering stuff, and packing, anyone have any clue on the recovery for a breast lift? More to come, later ladies! <3

Hey Yall!
I paid my $300 for Deposit, and when I'm down there I'm also gonna get a root canal and veneers/whitening with Dr. Beltre! I haven't been with him, but I probably will write a review on him as well! Everyone has been so helpful and prompt answering WhatsApp messages/emails!
Put my deposit on my Airbnb, contacted an overnight nurse, sent my deposit in, now I'm just looking up some supplies. 3/8 is my surgery, only a month to go!! I'm definitely getting the breast lift and small augmentation (my boobs are relatively big as is, I just want the implant to correct sizing difference), but I'm STILL deciding whether I want to do the Tummy Tuck with it, or just come back in a few months! I have a few things going on in May and August, don't know if I want to risk not being up to it!
DECISIONS DECISIONS! Any input?

Hey All,
So I bit the bullet, took the plunge, and did my new boobs with Dr. Diaz TODAY!! It was a super fast decision, I booked within 2-3 weeks of the actual surgery. Here's a brief update:
3 weeks before surgery: I messaged Dr. Diaz with my pictures and they gave me the quote, which was 3000 for breast lift and implants. I booked my flight, put the down payment on my Airbnb, sent the deposit for my private nurse who would be staying with me at the Airbnb (I'll post her info later), and started my cart on Amazon. A lot of stuff to do in a little time, Phew!! I also would be receiving dental work with Dr. Jepssy Beltre (who I will post a separate review for, under Veneers/root canal/teeth whitening, he is AWESEOME so far also,) and I was ready to go!!
As I mentioned before, I had a BBL/Lipo with Dr. Diaz before in 2014. the ONLY complaint I had this time (which is not him,) is that his new assistant quoted me 3,000 and then a week or so later messaged me that she made a mistake that it was actually 3400 for breast lift and implants. I informed her it wasn't my fault that she made the mistake, so we met in the middle at $3200, so that was slightly better, even though I was slightly peeved about it. I had already sent my deposit and knew I trusted Dr. Diaz so I just was like whatever and chalked it up. Now onto the fun part: The Trip!
I came 2 days before my surgery to see Dr. Beltre for the first stage of the dental work (it went awesome), and to see the beach and relax a little before the surgery. I met up with my nurse and chauffeur, and for extra cash they took me to Boca Chica beach, which is the closest beach to Santo Domingo. It was an awesome mini excursion and the food and beach was AMAZING! I definitely recommend going if you have time to squeeze it in your trip itinerary.
DAY OF SURGERY (Today): I had to arrive at CECIP at 6:30 in the morning, being as my surgery was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. The day prior I went to CECIP for labs (x ray, general health questions, cardiology, pay for the surgery etc.) That took about 2.5 hours (which I wasn't thrilled about but Hey, what hospital has you in and out in a half hour? I've never seen one lol.) It's a busy hospital with many different surgeons working from there so I expected it. Anyway, all the lab tests came out great, so I was all set for surgery. SO anyway, I arrived day of surgery with my nurse around 6:45 (I'm always late SMH), checked in, and the nurses promptly asked general questions, took me into my room to change into hospital garb. Dr. Diaz came in shortly after and did all the markings on my boobs, and asked what size I wanted to be. I told him my boobs are big enough already (I wear about a C or a D depending on the bra maker, plus I'm short so I don't need huge circus looking [RS bleep]). So I told him I want to be a D or DD, absolutely NOTHING bigger. As you can see, my main problem was sagginess and the fact that one of my boobs is significantly larger than the other. So anyway, after he marked me up, the nurse came and gave me the blue pill (I guess to relax your nerves, I don't know cuz I never feel different after taking it, LOL) and they took me back to the OR where I was given the needle for Anesthesia and next thing I know, I woke up in the recovery room. Anesthesia is annoying cuz when you wake up, you're FREEZING COLD! Lol and my arm was like shaking from the cold and the nurse was like "it's normal, it's normal" and gave me another blanket so that was good LOL. Anyway, they transferred me back to the room, where they gave me some good Dominican soup and juice and then we got ready to go to the Airbnb. The only other complaint I had once again was due to the assistant (not Dr. Diaz) was that she told me I would be spending one night at the hospital, but after surgery they told me I was leaving. I told them Diaz office said I was staying one night, but when Dr. Diaz came in he told me since I didn't have lipo or tummy tuck, clinic wasn't included in the stay, and that the assistant should have told me that and that he was sorry (I had previously told her I might be including lipo with the boobs, so it's possibly partly my fault also since I only got boobs and not the lipo with it.) Thankfully, my Airbnb told me I could come today instead of tomorrow, so I just called the Uber and off we went to the Airbnb! In total the surgery took probably about 2-3 hours, I don't know because I was knocked out lol. However, the pain is NOT BAD AT ALL! Even as I type this being the day of, the pain has probably been a 2-3 out of 10. I got over the muscle Motiva implants, (he mentioned I had a significant amount of breast tissue before so under the muscle was not needed,) Along with incision around the areola and a J scar. I'm uploading my before pictures (DO NOT LAUGH! THE BEFORE IS THE REASON I GOT THIS SURGERY! lol) so you can see what breastfeeding does to naturally large breasts lol. Anyway, I'm going to finish drinking my lemon and mint juice (good nutrients for recovery), and off to bed!!

So I have been doing research what seems like years(a few months) was going to go first to miami , but the fact recovery homes were very expensive, I reconsidered and was shooting for DR and picked mallol, I love his work, but was still undecided.
I think i read every single review, good and bad, and looked up every single profiles on those reviews. I was set on mallol with his tiny waists, but still worried i'd have a overly big butt( which is not my goal)
has traces of some infections which really worried me also.
In the end i was between mallol and diaz, after asking both assistants 1000';s of questions (poor girls,lol) I would always get a fast and prompt reply from diaz, from mallol assistant sometimes would wait up to a week for one question, impatient as I am, I wanted to book something for around february.
Diaz uses general anesthesia(was going to pay an extra 500usd to mallol for general) as well as includes lipo of the thighs, which i wanted all sides done (mallol had to pay extra 500 for thighs)
I figured I just had to stop being so undecided and PICK whoever I felt more at ease with.
Still on the fence, but I jumped over it and picked DIAZ.
I cannot find any infections or deaths on him, and his work no instagram is great as well!! Highly rated also!!(but...not as many ratings as mallol...)

I am one week out before my surgery, once again scanning every review on diaz that i can find, for comfort sake, I am pretty sure(but not toally sure) he will do a great job, and his assistant customer service and reply time- is on point.

I told only one of my girlfriends, so far, and she said'' how come he only has 2 bbl photos?!?'''' I replied unsurely, ''well, they're mostly on instagram...''
Her questioning that, got me worried... :-/
but, at the same time am still confident diaz will sculpt me nicely.

Arriving in domincan Thursday evening, got picked up by a personal driver (included in my package ) he brought me straight to the hospital to get my tests done .
Route there was quite something, I thought MTL had bad drivers but this was ..well I almost couldn't look, people just switch into your lane even if your there, cars cone about an inch from each other and on top of it you have bikes swirving in and out of the cars , I would not go in a bike there even if I was paid to, I asked the driver via Google translate if there was lots of accidents here, he said yes..
Arriving at cecip, the hospital where my surgery would be. Looked somewhat modern compared to the rest of the buildings I had seen on the way, poor country yes I know that, but also have too surgeons .
I picked domincan. Mostly cause they had a recovery home included in the package ,(and nicest booties) and thank God I went this route , cause I am day 3 at the moment and literally cannot do much of anything myself, moving slightly is sore . It's not a sharp pain, just more like- I got run over by a car pain
Sore all over my back and stomach , which makes it extremely difficult to find a comfy position to lay, at the same time putting little pressure on my tush so I don't mess up the surgery ( fat transfer needs a month off no pressure ,otherwise fat cells will die off, equals huge waist of money)
So I stayed the night at the hospital , as my surgery was first thing Friday morning ,
Got my tests done , which felt like I was in the 1950's with those things to check your heart , old-school, but does the job
Don't get me wrong, despite all the good reviews I read , I was still self doubting myself if I made the right decision?, then Again that's pretty much the story of my life ... Indecisive enough to drive myself loonie toon
Next morning doctor comes and marks me up, was very clear I wasn't looking for a big butt, more just to shape what I had now as no matter how many lunges and glutes ect that I do per week I wasn't getting results I was striving for
Spent the night at hospital , which was rough cuz I was also getting a sore throat,like really bad and hard to swallow, had a hard time breathing ,therfore not able to sleep . I had a nurse stay with me, she didn't speak any English, but used my Google translate. Asking for water all the time(, and all night) I was likely annoying her
My recovery house (armonia) is absolutely amazing, the nurses and everyone is just great and so caring , highly recommend!!
Spent most days and nights (not much sleep) just laying there not able to do much
I'm really happy I chose this route(domincan instead of Miami) cuz I cannot imagine recovering on my own with no help , could not do anything really , standing makes me dizzy so I just lay there
Day 5 (Tues) been a rough day , I cried this morning with my massage , they get easier but not fast enough , was just so tired from being up all night( trying to find a comfortable position is almost impossible) I'm used to sleeping half on my sides /half on my back and that's exaclty how you can't sleep cause the fat is filled in mostly on the sides anyways I could not even move from my bed today as I had a migraine (that I've been getting every day now) had to buy some different meds (along with a bunch of other things:Bruise cream, laxatives, meds to help me pee, canestin, and meds for migraines, ugh!) The nurses were so helpful once I told them how bad my head hurt , she came back almost immediately with my meds, and also asked if I drank coffee everyday , I said yes , she rushed to kitchen to prepare me a coffee and explained it could be why I was getting migraines, sure enough , either the different meds or the coffee seemed to work , thank God, cause today was one of the worst . Plus my drain seems to be pinching and is very uncomfortable. Am on so many meds right now all for different things
Have an appt tmrw with Diaz in the morning, he will let me know what's up cause im still really weak to move around

Results are slowly starting to come as swelling is going down, my back is still really sensitive and hard to get comfortable.My faja is driving me nuts but no choice to leave it on. Theres still lots of fluid left but coming down very slowly. I can tell Diaz did exacly as I had requested, still have several weeks of progress to come. I highly recommend him ,he needs more publicity on realself(and more photos), but his instagram shows he does nice work :)

I had my surgery March on 2018 (Brazilian butt lift, Tummy tuck and lipo 360), I was able to communicate directly with Dr. Manuel Diaz for my consultation and he answered all my questions. He was also able to reassure me regarding my concerns about my surgeries. His secretary provided excellent service and clear directions as to what my trip and surgery entailed. She was also very helpful with what I needed for my pre-op and post recovery. When I met Dr. Diaz's secretary and Dr. Diaz I was relieved that I was treated very attentively and with professionalism. I am very satisfied with my results and with the care I received from my surgeon and his staff. I was impressed with the hospital and cleanliness. However I was disappointment with the nurses after my surgery because they did not listen to my complaint of pain after my surgery which was not related to my surgical sites and more related to positioning since I could not move without assistance, it took seeing Dr. Diaz for him address my pain and see that it was causing problems with my skin oxygenation. Thankfully this did not cause any issues with my recovery. I had excellent post recovery and could not be happier with my results. My sister had had a similar procedure with him before I did and she looks so good and had nothing but excellent reviews that it was no-brainer to choose him. I am so grateful for the service I received and I am so glad I choose Dr. Diaz!
