Hello,Congratulations on your recent weight loss! As with most weight loss patients, you appear to have a significant amount of skin excess which can only be adequately treated with an abdominoplasty ( tummy tuck). Good luck.
Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a good candidate for tummy tuck based on these photos. Liposuction can be used in combination to improve contour but liposuction alone would not achieve a desirable result.
Unfortunately, after weight loss, some stubborn areas persist.Tummy tuck would give you the flattest abdomen and tightest skin.Vaser ultrasound liposuction would remove that stubborn fat and tighten skin to a degree, but not as much as tummy tuck.An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss your options and expectations.
Congratulations on your weight loss. You do have the ideal figure for liposuction with a full abdominoplasty to remove the excess skin and fat.
Thanks for your question. From your pictures, you seem to be a good candidate for a tummy tuck. I recommend scheduling a consult for a proper evaluation. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Dr. Moises Salama, board certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your question. Since you’ve experienced significant weight loss and are now dealing with stubborn fat and hanging skin, both liposuction and a tummy tuck could be options for you. A tummy tuck would be the most effective solution to remove excess skin and tighten the abdominal wall. Also, a tummy tuck can address any potential muscle separation after significant weight loss. Liposuction will help reduce the stubborn fat you’re dealing with.
Thank you for your question. Based on your photos, liposuction and a tummy tuck could be effective for you. Tummy tucks are beneficial for saggy skin because they involve tightening the abdominal muscles and removing excess skin. Liposuction will target localized fat deposits unresponsive to diet and exercise, improving body shape.
Congratulations on your weight loss! You have a lot of loose skin and would benefit from a tummy tuck. Liposuction is not going to treat the hanging skin and may make it worse. If your weight has plateau'd, I would recommend that you see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss tummy tuck surgery. You look like a great candidate for it. Good luck!
hello,Congrats on your weight loss and for seeking information here! . Based on your photos, your best path forward is a Tummy Tuck. This would include muscle repair , as well as skin and fat excision in your abdomen. Liposuction alone would not tighten the skin on the abdomen. You could opt to also get liposuction of the love handles and back flanks to further slenderize your torso. You look like a great candidate! Be sure to get a couple of consults with Board Certified Plastic Surgeons. There are a huge range of prices out there. Ask lots of questions to include things like what type of anesthesia, what is your recovery, and how often with the doctor see you in follow up. After your consult, you should have another meeting to discuss the surgical plan in more detail , and to review possible complications, and understand the post op instructions. Good luck and I think you will have a great outcome with a qualified surgeon.Ricardo L Rodriguez MD
Thank you for your inquiry! Congratulations on your weight loss! Liposuction only will cause the skin to hang more. A tummy tuck or abdominoplasty will include tightening the muscle and liposuction. It also removed the excess skin. We would love to help you reach your goals. Schedule a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
Thank you, a777749, for your question regarding the vertical scar your surgeon mentioned in addition to the horizontal scar from your tummy tuck. It sounds like what your surgeon is referring to is the scar that can sometimes result from where your belly button used to be before it is...
Dear Ingar, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations...
Thank you, Eclectic172004, for your question regarding swelling and the line you're seeing after your tummy tuck. At seven months post-op, it is possible that you could still be experiencing some residual swelling, which is normal for some patients. However, without an in-person examination or...
