My goal is to provide safe, comfortable, and ethical surgical care and medical services to my patients in a warm secure environment. My staff are not salespersons, and we aim to educate and advise, not sign patients up for interventions that they may not need. We focus on quality, not quantity.
Dr Camp and his staff were excellent to work with. They explained everything about my abdominoplasty (aka-tummy tuck) including what to expect, recovery time, and what things I could do to get the best result and quickest recovery. The end result was fabulous and I am very pleased with how my stomach area looks!
Wonderful experience. There was a lot of anxiety going into this experience. Dr. Camp and staff make their patients feel comfortable and results are fantastic! I would recommend to anyone . It's worth going in for a consult!
My experience with Dr. Matthew Camp, was BEYOND exceptional and I don’t say that easily. I have never had a doctor (which I’ve had 3 C-sections) more transparent, honest, and just real. And I say real as in like, you could have a conversation with him in or outside the clinic and he’d be the same person. It’s like you’re talking to a normal person who knows a TON about plastic surgery, (like the good and the bad). There is no ego he carries, it’s more he genuinely cares and loves what he does. And your results from him speak volumes. Because yes, he is that good. I’d also like to point out you and I probably don’t like getting naked in front of other people because of fear of judgment and all the things right? Well, Dr. Camp makes you feel as nothing is ugly or gross on your body. He simply just see it for what it is, and fixes it to make you feel comfortable, and sexy in your own skin. And I for one, love that! Not to mention his staff are like the coolest people and it doesn’t even feel like you’re in a doctors office. They laugh, smile, and joke with you and it’s just honestly a great environment when you’re looking to have some surgery done that can be nerve racking. But I assure you, they all take that away from you from the moment you step foot in the door. Truthfully, I could probably write an entire novel on my experience, but I know you and I don’t have that time, so I will leave you with this. If you are truly looking to change your body by surgery, Echelon Surgical Specialist, will give you (hands down) the BEST experience, results and care you deserve.
My entire experience with Dr Camp and his team has been 10/10 from the first day to the last appointment. He is highly skilled at his work. I chose him because he uses the exparel block for tummy tuck (I never needed one Oxycodone after surgery, managed just fine with Tylenol and ibuprofen), prescribes post surgical lovenox to cover for blood clots, and prescribes post surgical antibiotics to cover for infection. I also got texts from him the first night after surgery with intra op pictures and videos. He and his team are readily available and highly responsive thru phone and text. My end result is better than I could have dreamed of. After four kids and dreaming about getting this done for fifteen years, I only wish I would’ve done it sooner.
I decided to get a tummy tuck and went to several consultations but felt at ease with Dr. Camp. Dr. Camp and team are courteous, kind and extremely professional. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. They made me feel comfortable and the end result was amazing. There are no hidden information or costs and he informed me on what to expect. I highly recommend their services.
Amazing from the first call for appointment. Dr Camp was great, he told me what I needed to do to get the best results when he saw me. Encouraging to me with the advice he gave to lose the weight and the time it takes clients to accomplish their goal. Looks and feels better than I could have ever imagined even after the 1st week. Dr Camp’s staff are all wonderful and everyone made feel comfortable from the start.
WOW! 10/10! Searching for a Provider: After a year of contemplating a Breast Augmentation, I started doing extensive research on providers and scheduled a couple consults. Prior to Echelon, I had a consult, but wasn’t feeling great afterwards, so it was safe to say I was a little nervous coming in. Consultation: During my consult, Dr. Camp spent the first 15 minutes throughly answering all of my questions and concerns! He has a very calm and reassuring demeanor. Before the sizing assessment, I mentioned how my weight loss resulted in saggy skin and I wanted fullness while still having a natural profile. After our appointment, I felt very confident setting a surgical date and was able to get in within 3-4 weeks! Pre-Op: Prior to surgery, Echelon sent detailed information on what the expect the day of as well as a few days after. I also received a call from my nurse at the surgical center to go over medical information, questions, etc. Surgery Day: On the day of surgery, I was taken back right away and was met with my amazing nurse. Before going under, my entire surgical team came in to check on me and introduce themselves! (Nurses, CRNA, Anesthesiologist, Dr. Camp’s Assistant and Dr. Camp) Post-Op: After the procedure, I was up and moving around within 30-45 minutes. Dr. Camp stopped by to let us know everything went great and even sent pictures after the implants were placed! Follow Up: The surgical team as well as Dr. Camp followed up later that evening just to check in. After the first few days, I did notice a lump under my incision and texted Dr. Camp a picture, he responded within a couple of hours to let me know it was just the swelling moving around! Overall: Dr. Camp and his teach are extremely friendly and knowledgeable in their work. Great communication! Now, I am 3 weeks post-op and couldn’t be happier with the results! They look amazing! *For Reference: 300cc Implants, 23, 5’2 and 130 pounds. Started at a A/B and estimating a C/D after swelling and final placement!
My experience with Dr. Camp and his staff has been nothing but amazing! I could not be happier. After losing 84 pounds, my next step in my weight loss journey was to find a doctor that could help me beautify what I had worked so hard to achieve. I found that in Dr. Camp and could not be more grateful! I can’t wait to confidently wear a tank top to the gym or to wear a bathing suit without adding gel insert pads just to fill out the cups.
I am about three weeks post breast augmentation and I am so happy with my result! Dr.Camp and his team were amazing from my consultation appointment on. I could not be happier and I highly recommend Dr. Camp!
I went to Dr Camp for a Tummy Tuck procedure and during the first scheduled procedure their was some undiscovered medical condition that caused then surgery to be rescheduled. Dr. Camp worked with me to help resolve the issue with and get cleared for the surgery. I can’t express enough how fantastic Dr Camp was from the pre-op examination to helping get the procedure done and follow-up issues. I could not have had a better experience or had a better more quality professional to work with Dr Camp. I am thrilled with the results of my tummy tuck with Dr Camp!
Implant size change is possible. Drastic increase in size is not recommended, as it can cause excess stretching of the skin, and spreading of scar. Thin tissue at the bottom of the breast usually does not cause a problem with rippling, but there can be issues with the thin tissues not being able to support the implant. This can result in undesired sagging or implant exposure. Consult with your surgeon, and work toward a solution.
There are two main factors that influence spacing between breasts 1) Native anatomy, and 2)Implant plane. The nipples are centered over the breast mound, and if the implant is forced medially, the nipples face sideways. The implant must be centered under the nipples, and this means that the implant must be centered in the breast footprint. If the breasts have a significant gap, this will persist. 2) Implant plane does have a modest effect on cleavage, in that submuscular placement does position the implant laterally when the muscle is activated. If you want cleavage, subglandular (Above muscle) is the way to go. You likely would be well served with 250-320 cc range. This would be determined in clinic by trying on sizers.
It is difficult to advise you on your issue in the absence of physical exam. Depending on the approach to placing the implant, it could be that the left breast pocket was not adequately opened up initially to allow proper positioning of the device. This can occur if the incision is made around the areola or through the armpit. An incision under the breast is less likely to have this issue, but it is possible. I do not encourage change of plane, as this can be a rather bloody procedure, and have the undesired effect of having two pockets - unless the muscle is secured back down to the chest wall, the implant can flip from one pocket to the other. Shaped implants are great as an initial device, but in revision it can be tricky. This is because the texture that is on the implant surface is meant to allow growth of the breast tissue on the implant surface, preventing movement of the implant. In revision cases, the peri prosthetic capsule is very slick, and the surface texture is ineffective in preventing implant rotation. I have seen these implants flip in revision cases, and the appearance is bizarre. I think your best choice is to see another plastic surgeon, and see if a simple solution can be found.
Due to your large breast size, gravity is making the breasts sag. Adding an implant may exacerbate the sagging over time. A lift alone will help boost the upper pole volume, but you will still need support in the form of a bra to enhance cleavage. Placement of implants can enhance upper pole volume, and are a good option for individuals with deflated breasts. This is not your situation. Due to the fact you do have some excess fat, you could have a lift, followed by fat grafting to the upper pole of the breast. This would avoid the risks of breast implants (capsular contracture), and enhancing the exact area where you want projection, but not adding significantly to the overall volume of the breast. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who is familiar with fat grafting in large volume.
From your photo, I don’t think an old fashioned tummy tuck will help you. Renuvion can improve your definition of your abdomen without the scar from a tummy tuck. Small implants will serve you well. Find a board certified plastic surgeon to plan your care. If you have problems finding renuvion, airsculpt is a chain that does offer renuvion provided by plastic surgeons.
