and even though I manage to stay current with Botox, Since I can only afford one syringe, and maybe a half, of filler right now, what areas do you think I would take care of first? I wanted to use Sculptra, but it might be another 6 mos. before I can afford a second vial. I was thinking under my eyes with restyline, and Voluma for my cheek? Will one vial of Voluma do anything for my cheek?. I had two syringes in my temples and nasolabial folds before.

Great question. The answer is that most of those devices do not melt fillers, but some can and it depends on where the filler was placed. Filler placed in many areas like the cheeks is deep to the skin (against the bone) and will not be affected at all. But filler placed within the skin...
Thanks for you question and I'm sorry you had to go through all of this for your lips. Voluma will break down naturally, but I would recommend you talk to your injector about dissolving the product further. In the future, consider a flexible filler like Restylane Refyne or Silk.Good luck. Dr. ALDO
