Had cheek/marionette/jaw fillers over a month ago. At first I was concerned w/bruises/swelling & not seeing a difference. However over the last 2 weeks I've noticed a huge difference/improvement & I'm getting compliments on my skin. I thought I was imagining-am I ??
Answer: Do Face Fillers Improve Over Time? Facial Fillers Continue to Improve Over First Months Sometimes it takes your skin awhile to settle in after being injected with hyaluronic-acid based dermal fillers. Bruising and swelling can last for about two weeks. Also, these fillers are hydrophilic, so they tend to look better with time as they absorb moisture and settle into your skin. You know you’re not imagining the improvement, because you’re getting so much back-up from your friends! Congratulations on a successful rejuvenation. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist any time you want cosmetic facial injections.

Answer: Face fillers: do they improve after time? Thank you for sharing your question. HA fillers do tend to improve with time as they absorb water, soften, and mature. This allows for their full effect to be seen and maintained. Hope this helps.

Answer: Fillers improvement over time. I'm glad you are thrilled with your results! Once the fillers settle in, and your tissue heals from injections, your results can truly be seen as they are! Voluma and Volbella are hyaluronic acid fillers, which do not stimulate collagen on their own. If you're looking for that type of result I would recommend trying Radiesse and/or Sculptra as these fillers will naturally stimulate your bodys own collagen and will truly improve your overall appearance in the future as well as instantly after the injections.Best of luck to you, and be well!

Answer: Filler Results Getting Better Over Time Hi and thank you for your question! I am glad to hear that you are happy with the results, and I am sure you are not imagining things! As a matter of fact, your experience is very common in my patients and I always advise my patients to allow 2 weeks to pass following any filler treatments for the swelling and bruising (if any) to completely resolved and for the treatment results to settle in. The swelling is not always clearly visible but it can persist for some time and affect the look, but when it's gone within the two-week period, the treatment results will fully emerge and most patients will be positively surprised just like you! Hope it helps and enjoy your results!

Answer: Voluma and Volbella and Time Voluma and Volbella tend to look even better over time since they absorb water and tend to even out. I often find that two months later patients look even better than they did after their initial injections. Please consult an expert in Juvederm injections for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
