I'm eight weeks postop BA with 300cc Motiva ergo demi implants. Previously a small 34B. I feel like I have a large gap (3-4 fingers) and they look much smaller than what I wished for. I still fit into my old B-cups, and wished for a C-cup. I also still have some upper pole fulless, lower left nipple, and they feel quite firm. Will I continue to drop&fluff, and can this process make them appear larger and/or closer together? What can I expect during the next weeks and from drop&fluff? Thank you!
Answer: Implant settling Thanks for your question. As of now you have an excellent result. The implants appear centered under in the nipples, which is the goal. It is very difficult to change the footprint of the breasts without creating an odd appearance. The implants and breast tissue are also likely to settle over the next 6 months. I recommend waiting until then before considering any changes in size. Bets of luck!

Answer: Drop and fluff? Using bras to test your results usually leads to failure. It's a very inaccurate way to determine a cup. At this point, I suggest you talk to your surgeon about the concerns you're having. Final results always occur 1 year later so re-evaluate at that point.

Answer: Breast size after surgery Thanks for the great question. As the others have already suggested, your implants will continue to change a little more over the next few months. This can be a long a very frustrating process. Many women have doubts and regrets after surgery. The vast majority of those patients are very happy by 6 months. It just takes some time to get used to the new you! Your anatomy determines the approximate location of the breast implants. I think you have a very good result and your implants are in a great position behind you nipples. Best of luck and congratulations on your surgery!~Dr. Sieber

Answer: Too small after implant surgery The vast majority of women will desire larger breast implants after their original surgery. This is normal. I would take a couple of slow deep breaths and relax. You look fine, give the results at least 6 months, if not a year to "settle". If after allowing the swelling to resolve and your body to adjust, then you can make a better judgment if you want to go through another procedure to increase your size.Good Luck!

Answer: Feel too small - will drop and fluff help? Thank you for your question. Your implants will drop more and fill out the lower pole of her breast over the next month however I doubt they will drop much more after another month to 6 weeks. The distance between her breasts is determined by the width of your breast bone and cannot be altered. Please follow up with your plastic surgeon to discuss whether you will need larger implants.
