I had a great experience. I came into the office to have my hands injected with filler. Dr Salzman explained to me he was going to use Radiesse. He also explained to me how Radiesse works and I was delighted. I am happy with my results. The staff are very friendly and professional. I will be returning.
Having been to plastic surgeons all across the United States and having the ability to travel anywhere, Dr. Salzman and his team in Louisville have blown me away! I've had facial fat grafting with him twice and he is a master. My results are incredible and I don't believe there's any doctor anywhere that could do a better job. I'm stunned by his ability to sculpt my face using my own fat, without me having to explain what I want. He just knew what would look best and I fully trusted him and I could not be happier!
Doctor Salzman did the mommy makeover on me December 2019. During my consultation all questions and concerns were answered. I was even given visual aides on the different implants they had to offer. Not to mention he showed me the pictures he took of me during the consultation, then showed me what I would look like after the surgery. Doctor Salzman and his entire staff were amazing before, during, and after my surgeries. Salzman and his staff called me several times after my surgery to check up on me. They would return calls and emails with concerns immediately. I was so insecure about my body and now I look phenomenal. The whole experience was amazing and I wouldn’t go to any other plastic surgeon. They greet you the minute you walk in. All staff takes the time to get to know you personally, you feel like family with all staff.
Dr. Salzman did my rhinoplasty in July. It is now September and I am extremely satisfied with everything. All of the nurses and Dr. Salzman were very nice and helpful. The clinic was very clean and professional. I could not have had a better experience!
Dr. Salzman and his team work are the best. I have a wonderful body thanks to them. I recommend his clinic and amazing work if you want to get a beach-body. El Dr. Salzman y su equipo de trabajo son los mejores. Tengo un cuerpo maravilloso gracias a ellos. Le recomiendo su clínica y trabajo si quiere tener un cuerpo de playa.
I was really nervous about having breast augmentation I done a lot of research for a long time and the more I read the more I knew I wanted a consult with DR Salzman during my consult with him and Blair I felt so comfortable they answered every question didn’t feel rushed made sure I had no further questions. I emailed Blair different questions few times before and after surgery she has always responded quickly. I had a little pain day after surgery DR Salzman told me to take Motrin it worked. I read so many reviews about woman having a lot of pain after I only did one time day after and it wasn’t bad just a little. I was able to go eat and go places same day and the rest of the week he is an amazing surgeon with great confidence in his skills. The whole staff is wonderful my RN during and after surgery was amazing. This is hands down best plastic surgeon and staff I would recommend this place to everyone.

I am a 28 year old mom of 3, breastfed all of them, and am very active (5’9” and 140 lbs). Let me just say, I absolutely HATE researching so this site was a huge help and made the process so much easier! Dr. Salzman was the second doctor I had a consultation with. From the office to the staff, I was all around impressed! They were so welcoming and very professional. I cannot say enough great things about the patient coordinator, Blair! She has been extremely helpful answering all of my questions. I had my consultation with Dr. Salzman on March 21. He is very confident and so intelligent. He is clearly an expert. I was a little overwhelmed as I tried to soak in all the information he was giving me. That’s where Blair, the patient coordinator, really helped! I originally decided to just get a size 305cc Sientra implant since Dr. Salzman felt like I was borderline needing a lift and left the decision up to me. After I got home and thought about it more, I decided to get a breast lift with a 285cc Sientra implant. The 3D imaging they provided helped make my decision easy! I want my boobs to be full but also want them to be perky again. I scheduled my surgery for April 26! I am so excited and ready to feel and look like my pre-baby “self” again. Updated on 23 Apr 2019: My boobs have seen just about every size from pre-baby (34D), pregnancy (34DDD/E), breastfeeding, and the post-breastfeeding deflation (34B). Updated on 27 Apr 2019: My surgery went so great yesterday! The doctor said I didn’t need as much of a lift as we originally thought so he did more of a lollipop lift with a smaller incision for the implant. The nurse, Melissa, took great care of me and made sure I understood everything that was happening. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Clark, was very kind and a calming person to have in the OR. I told him I had past experiences of throwing up post surgery so he told me he’d do his best to prevent that. I did end up throwing up when I woke up and he personally apologized (which I didn’t care because it actually made me feel better!). I just thought that was sweet of him to care so much. I had the hardest time waking up yesterday from surgery but I appreciated that great nap :) I felt a ton of pressure on my chest, not so much pain, just a lot of pressure. When we got home, i propped myself up with pillows in bed and slept great! Leaning back was the most comfortable position for me and I could hardly feel the pressure. This morning, I’m still feeling pressure and am extremely sore. Again, not really pain so that’s nice! I tried to do minimal activity but could tell when I was doing too much so would take a break. I’ve stayed on top of pain medicine and muscle relaxers and that’s helped. Took a shower and it was better than expected. The water didn’t hurt like I thought it would. It was also the first time I saw the girls. Very high and hard, but so far I’m loving the size! Updated on 26 Apr 2020: Today marked one year since I’ve had my breast lift and augmentation done. I absolutely LOVE my results! They are exactly what I was hoping for. It’s been so fun to wear new swimsuit tops and bras that have no underwire!! I haven’t worn underwire in a whole year :) My recovery was ideal with no complications. I still have pretty visible scarring, which I’ve been told will take some time to fade. It did take a few months to regain complete feeling in my right nipple and I am still slowly regaining feeling in my left nipple. Again, fairly common. I had 2 follow-up appointments with Dr. Salzman that went extremely well: one 2 weeks post and the second 2 months post. After the second follow-up, I was cleared to do anything (run, play sports, lift heavy things). We also took my “after” pictures at that appointment which was fun to see the side by side with my “before” picture. Looking back on my experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Salzman for a breast augmentation and lift! He will work with you to get your desired results! I had such a positive experience all around and could not be more pleased with my results!!
I don't even know where to start..... Dr Salzman and staff were over the top! I felt comfortable from the time I walked through the front door for my concult until I left. Dr Salzman explained everything to me in detail and answered all my questions. Then I went in to see Blair to go over the financial side and she explained everything in great detail and answered any questions I had she is sooooo sweet. The day of surgery I could not have asked to be treated better. The nurse and the Anesthesiologist explained step by step in detail what they were doing and how the procedure was going to go. Then Dr. Salzman came in and answered my questions. Surgery went great my recovery was great! I'm so glad I did this and would do it over again. I would definitely use Dr. Salzman again for any other procedure and would highly recommend him to all my friends and family.
Dr. Salzman was referred to me by one of my healthcare providers as one of the best cosmetic surgeons in our area. He and his staff were very efficient and personable prior to, during, and after my surgery. Everything went very smoothly. I am very pleased with my results. I wore a dress to a wedding recently that looked so much more flattering than before. My husband is pleased with my new look. My breast lift and implants feel and look very natural.
It appears that there are remaining pigmented tissues along the border of the areola. A vertical mastopexy revision can relocate the breast to a higher level, make the areola smaller and remove the pigmented tissues. Hope thats helpful.
It appears that the right breast is bottomed out. The incision is 1.5-2 cm onto the breast. This will probably not get better on its own. Some type of capsule work with or without adding an ADM like Galaflex would be necessary to fix it.
Yes, based on your photographs, you would be a candidate for a doughnut mastopexy. In my experience this type of mastopexy does not raise the breast from the nipple to crease. It also has a flatetning effect in decreasing projection creating a very elongated looking breast. In my opinion, a vertical mastopexy would work better. I would recommend you see a few plastic surgeons in your region with demonstrated expertise in cosmetic breast surgery for consultation. Hope that's helpful.
If only a 25 mL smaller implant is placed, and no volume is removed from the intrinsic breast tissue, the size of the breast, even with the left will be about the same. If the 425 mL implant has migrated laterally while in the laying down position, it would be best to do some type of capsulorraphy wether with just the electrocautery or the addition of some type of sutures. Should your tissues be inadequate, and ADM such as Strattice can be added for strength. Hope that's helpful.
That's a very good question. In my experience, longer lasting sutures made from poly glycolic acid tend to be my preference in these situations. Even if the suture is made from a material that will never melt away, what's to prevent the tissue just on the outside of the suture from stretching. It's probably not the suture longevity that makes for a successful outcome. In the event that your surgeon feels that your innate tissues would be inadequate to support the new position of the breast implant, some type of an ADM such as Strattice or Galaflex might be helpful.Hope that's helpful.
