I am booked in for a breast augmentation in June. I am quite petite and am after a relatively small, natural look. I do like the look of anatmoical implants, however my surgeon prefers not to use these due to the risk of rotation.I am currently considering the motiva ergonomix, however am struggling to find reviews (both professional and personal). I was wondering if anyone on RS has any experience with this implant? Any advice would be appreciated!

Answer: Motiva ergonomix dilemma Hi thank you for your question. I use Motiva implants regularly and have found them to be a good choice for many women. You are right to be concerned about the risk of rotation with anatomical implants (though in experienced hands this risk is low).Having said that one of the benefits of the Ergonomix implant is it has a very natural feel, it moves in a natural way and is a good option for those looking for a natural look. The result can be tailored by altering volume and projection of the implant which your surgeon should be able to discuss with you.As you live in Australia be sure to choose a plastic surgeon who holds the FRACS qualification.Best wishes.

Answer: Tear drop implants Thanks for your questionIf you want tear drop then you should tell your surgeon that is your preferenceThe risk of rotation in primary breast augmentation is so low that it really isn't worth factoring that into your decision making.Motiva implants are new and very little info is available in AustraliaI would stick to the more reputable companies until the data around Motiva is more robust.I hope this helps and good luck.
