A few years ago I had a Breast lift done and was very happy with it. I was put on a new Diabetic medicine and lost 30 lbs. from severe side effects. Needless to say I also lost my breast volume and I had skin sagging on my upper eyelids. I didn't want to gain the weight back to have my breasts back so I went back to Dr. David Finkle to have my breasts and upper eyelids done. Dr. Finkle and his staff are amazing in their professionalism and kind manner!! I had 700cc silicone gummy bear Ultra High Profile implant under the breast tissue on the right and 650cc on the left to fix asymmetry , with a scar revision of a 30 year old scar. My upper eyelids done as well. I'm so happy with my results Dr. Finkle did an amazing job!!! I would do it all over again and my husband loves my results too! For some reason my day after photos of my BA will not load, that being said I have loaded what I could. My recovery so far not as bad as I had feared, but reaching for things and lifting things off shelving that has some weight I can't do without pulling and soreness right now.
I started my journey as many do, interviewing and talking to many surgeons. I had surgery will Dr. Finkle 15 years ago and he did a revision surgery about 8 weeks later and I was happy with my results. My thought process was, I better check out other doctors to see if Dr. Finkle is still a fit for me, and the more doctors you interview the more information about your surgery you learn. I decided to have my surgery with Dr. Finkle. If you don't know the difference, let me tell you the small things are important. To start with, his team is amazing! They make you feel good about what you are doing, they are always positive and caring. Let's be real about this type of surgery, it is hard to show your body and take photo's, and markings the day of surgery and keep your dignity. Dr. Finkle and his staff make the uncomfortable feel comfortable. They explained everything and went over surgery, and recovery many times. The day of surgery I was very nervous and they made me feel comfortable. After talking to many people, and joining FB groups, Dr. Finkle is above the rest. From the different options of breast reduction and lift and abdominoplasty surgery, he thinks outside the box and has many more options and made me feel comfortable with him. He makes sure he has taken steps for his patience comfort during and after surgery. From walking out after surgery due to the steps he take to keep your pain minimal, designing a bags (fanny packs), to put your drain in (which is a huge deal) and he gives you a different bag for showering, this was amazing and one of the complaints about surgery is the drains and what to do with them, Dr. Finkle has is figured out! this is just a few of the small details that he thought through that makes a difference. Dr. Finkle is the best choice from start to finish. Thank you to him and is staff/team!
I am 2.5 months post breast augmentation and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my results. Sharon was a huge help and is incredibly kind! Dr. Finkle was very upfront and direct, which I personally really appreciated. I felt very heard and understood on how I wanted my breasts to look. The surgery was a breeze and I recovered nicely!
I'm 5 days post op breast lift with implants. I love my results so far even tho I know I still have to heal and let my implants come down. I loved Dr.Finkle and his staff. The consult from the beginning was very thorough. I do see that my boobs aren't perfectly even right now, but I realize they're still healing and this is not my final result. I got 325cc under the muscle. Updated on 6 Jun 2022: I’m 3 weeks post op tomorrow. I’m liking my left boob better than my right. So far my nipples seem really low me especially my right nipple. Im hoping when my implants drop this gets better. Am I gonna need a revision? Updated on 19 Jun 2022: I’m healing really nicely and my incision is super nice and neat. The implants are coming down nicely and I’m liking them more each day.
I've always had a small breasts, but after children they really took the plunge. 2019 is when I got serious. Had a consultation and I wasn't impressed. Fast forward past all he chaos and I found Dr. Finkle (2022) and his amazing crew. I felt so comfortable and confident after my consultation we set the appointment. Updated on 25 Apr 2022: First day was a blur from the pain meds. 2nd day I was extremely sore but was excited to take a shower and see them for the fist time. Shocked is an understatement. The size is way bigger than I expected. I’m not disappointed at all just hopeful they will get slightly smaller once all the swelling subsides. I’m on day 5 now and I’ve stopped Rx pain meds and taking Tylenol as needed. I’m still swollen!!! It’s hard not to do things around the house. I can’t wait to be able to take walks. The no exercise for a few weeks is going to kill me. Updated on 29 Apr 2022: It’s been 8 days since my augmentation. My stats prior to surgery: 36 A weight 135lbs height 5’6” athletic build I was so worried about looking heavy by getting implants. I don’t feel that way at all anymore. I’m beyond happy with my results. I went with 375cc implant. I started at 325 and after trying on sizers I was sold on 350 but after discussing at consultation we went one size bigger and I’m so glad by I did. That was my one major concern prior to surgery. Did I make the right decision is that too big!? Not at all. I LOVE THEM! Im feeling great. Taking things slow of course. Completely off all pain meds. I have been icing at night before bedtime. I’m going to start taking walks this weekend. I cannot wait to get back in the gym! Again the staff at Dr. Finkle’s are amazing! The best bed side manner and I felt so comfortable with all of them! If you’re in this area I highly recommend him. Updated on 11 May 2022: They are starting to drop and soften up! My right one is being stubborn not as soft and not dropping. My nipples have been extremely sensitive and my skin has been irritated. I get the occasional zinger. But other than all that I LOVE THEM! I’ve started going for walks and I plan to start lower body workouts next week. So excited to get back the gym. Updated on 23 Oct 2022: In love! They are perfect. Still can’t do a few exercises without my left one feeling a strange pull. But other than that I’m completely back to everything I did prior to surgery.
Dr. David Finkle was AWESOME and did a wonderful job!! I could not be happier! He had great bedside manners and truly is a artist. My arms were very large and he sculpted them to look better than I ever thought they could look. His nurse, Sharon, was a big help, too. She took my call every single time I called and they were able to get me in each time I wanted to be seen. I couldn’t say enough about this team! I would recommend Dr. Finkle to all!!
Absolutely amazing! The staff was so wonderful through the whole process and guided me in making the best decisions. I could not be happier with my results and LOVE the way I look! If you want to have the best results then this is the place to go and your surgeon!
I came in Nov. 2020 for my consult with Sharon & Kim, both made me feel comfortable & answered all my questions. Had surgery Feb. 19th 2021. My pre-op nurse was Daisy she was so amazing. She made me comfortable waiting for surgery. All of the ladies I met with sincerely care about their patients. I couldn't have picked a better place for my surgery.
Alright ladies! After researching and reading reviews for 8 MONTHS, it was finally time for me to have my “mommy makeover”. I have been either pregnant, or breastfeeding for most of the last 5 years, so when I stopped breastfeeding my 2nd (and last) child in July of 2020, I decided it was time for a consultation. I had my initial consultation for a breast augmentation/lift in August of 2020, where I learned that my degree of “ptosis” was too severe to do the lift and augmentation at the same time, I would need a staged procedure if I wanted both done. I left feeling a little sad to be honest, and it took me until January of 2021 to book a 2nd consultation (with the same Dr.) and decided to move ahead with the breast lift, as well as liposuction of the upper/lower abdomen and flanks. My surgery was scheduled for Friday, April 16th 2021. **Reading reviews really helped me become confident in my decision so I will try to be as detailed as possible but please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer!**Day of surgery: I showed up at 6:45am and was taken to the pre-op room where my nurse, Jenna, took my vitals and went over some consents. I took a pregnancy test per protocol and changed into my surgical gown, TED hose, socks, etc. Jenna got my IV access placed on the first try and was so sweet and soo excited for me! She felt like my own personal cheerleader and I was so thankful for her :)The CRNA, Mike, came in and went over the anesthesia questions with me... and then it was time for Dr. Finkle to come and mark me up for surgery! He is truly an artist and I could tell his attention to detail was impressive from the get go!From there, Jenna helped walk me to the OR and I climbed up on the bed. Mike told me I might feel some discomfort in my IV and have a weird taste in my mouth. The last thing I said was “whoa that is weird!” And then I woke up in recovery lolMy post op nurse, Theresa, was just as wonderful as Jenna! She was very attentive and asked me right away how I was feeling. Honestly, I wasn’t in hardly any pain at all but I was a little nauseous. When I told her that, she had phenergan (sp?) in my IV in less than 30 seconds and I felt almost immediate relief. I was afraid to eat anything but she got me water and 7 up while we waited for my husband to pick me up. I got a smoothie on the way home and drank about half of it and took my first pain meds and another anti nausea med, both of which made me very sleepy. I was home by 1:30pm and slept most of the afternoon/evening. Dr. Finkle personally called me to check on me(unfortunately I was asleep), but my husband was able to update him that I was doing just fine! The first night was pretty uneventful.Day 1 post op: I got up at 7am to get something to eat so I could take a pain pill and I was extremely nauseous and light headed. My husband helped me back to bed and I felt much better after a protein shake + pain med + nausea med. I felt pretty good most of the day. I would classify my pain as soreness and it was very manageable. Unfortunately our bed is very tall so getting in and out of bed has been the most painful part. My liposuction is also by far more painful than my breasts at this point. My pain was the highest (thus far) in the evening of post op day 1.Post op day 2 (today): I’ve really felt pretty good. I’m backing down on pain medication and definitely looking forward to being able to shower and take ibuprofen/Advil tomorrow. My appetite hasn’t been great so I’ve been eating pretty light since surgery- basically smoothies, protein shakes, soup, eggs, and toast. I think that’s it for my first couple of days. I can shower tomorrow so I am going to try to post some progress pictures! Updated on 2 May 2021: I’ve had a pretty easy recovery. I took my pain meds for the first 3.5 days (mostly for the liposuction). My breasts never hurt. I had a post op appointment 7 days after surgery to remove my lipo stitches, and my nurses were so impressed with how I am healing! My incisions are still a little tender, but I am so happy with the results I’ve seen with far! (Pics are prior to surgery and 15 days post op) Updated on 8 May 2021: Got all of my stitches out and got to really see the results! They’ll have to stay taped for a few more days, but I can start scar therapy soon and I’m really looking forward to that! Feeling great, a little sore and swollen at the end of the day but overall so worth it!
Dr. Finkle is so good - I think he's the best in Omaha! Not only am I so happy with my results, but I know 10 people from all different parts of my life and every single one of them went to him! I also changed my mind 500 times and they didn't mind at all. Sharon, his nurse, is amazing and was a therapist to me leading up to it. I went with 425 HP Silicone under and love them!
You need to contact your surgeon's office immediately and determine their cancellation policy. The earlier you do this the better, some offices will refund the entire amount, some just the down payment deposit and some will not refund anything at all. Good Luck!
Restoring shape and volume is what breast enhancement procedures are all about. When there is loose skin, this must be addressed. There are many options available with different lift procedures and a multitude of breast implant options. Here is a basic list of the four options available: 1. Breast lift alone ( mastopexy) 2. Breast lift combined with a small breast implant (below the muscle) 3. Breast lift followed by a large breast implant (2 separate procedures) 4. Breast implant alone (on top of the muscle, silicone) Every woman is built differently and every breast is different, even on the same person. So, each procedure is customized for every individual. The final decision on how to proceed can be made after a history and physical examination, detailed measurements, photographs, computer simulation, trying on sizers, reviewing before and after photographs of other women similar in shape and size and talking with your surgeon. A surgical plan will be developed that depends on: -Patient desires -The breast "footprint" -The expertise of the surgeon -Cost -Down time -Scars -Risks and potential complications Based on the photographs submitted, you have mammary ptosis and would be a candidate for any of the 4 options mentioned above. Please consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who performs breast enhancement procedures frequently. Good Luck!
Liposuction removes unwanted fat cells, but does not tighten the skin. You will need a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin. A tummy tuck which is also referred to as an abdominoplasty is a procedure to enhance the appearance of the abdomen. It consists of 3 basic steps: 1. Skin removal and tightening 2. Subcutaneous fat removal 3. Muscle tightening There are many different types of tummy tucks which are customized to each individual. The placement of the scar is very low on the abdomen, transverse and can include removal of a previous C-Section scar. The recovery is very similar to a C-Section or Hysterectomy recovery. The first week lifting is limited to 15 lbs. maximum and the patients usually walk slowly and bend over. The second week the weight limitation is increased to 30 pounds and more normal walking. After the second week many patients return to work if it is more sedentary, active work jobs and heavy lifting, pulling or straining are still difficult for another 2 weeks. Most women need help with small children for the first week. There has been a breakthrough in the technology of post op pain relief for tummy tucks. A new medication is now being used that will provide for 3-4 days of post op pain relief, speeding up the recovery process! It is called Exparel. Vigorous physical activity and contact sports are limited for 4-6 weeks. Everyone's recovery is different, and everyone's tummy tuck is different, the recovery time will vary from individual to individual. This is a wonderful operation that will make the tummy flat FOREVER, WITHOUT SIT-UPS!! But, you have to be willing to trade the appearance for the scar, which is long, but well placed, and hidden in all clothing and bathing suits. Your weight should be stable and finished with child bearing before undergoing this procedure. Please consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in body contouring procedures to assure the best possible result. Based on the photographs submitted you would be a candidate for an extended tummy tuck. Good Luck!
