Right from the beginning Dr Choy made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision to have my procedure done by him over other surgeons. He was detailed in describing the procedure, what to expect and recovery as well as being realistic with my results.

I had a tummy tuck and breast reduction and lift (16E to 14D), and am very happy with my results - my self esteem and confidence has greatly improved and I no longer have the discomfort of a hanging apron over my belly or the frustration of clothes not fitting well when shopping.

My recovery was a little prolonged due to delayed wound healing under my breast, but Dr Choy and especially Danielle, part of his nursing team, really put my mind at ease with regular check ins, advice, and ongoing care at a frequency of my choosing. The after care really blew me away and having seen reviews of other surgeons with not so great aftercare, this is where Dr Choy and his team really excelled - nothing was ever too much trouble.

I travelled from Tasmania to Sydney to see Dr Ellis Choy for breast revision surgery. I had smaller breasts with significant asymmetry (B cup left, small A cup right, pictured in last photo). I had implants placed in December 2022 by another surgeon (teardrop, 245cc on my left and 295cc on my right, under the muscle). Recovery from my initial surgery was challenging when I quickly realised I was unhappy with my results. After consulting with my original surgeon I knew I wanted to seek revision elsewhere.

I had a phone consultation with Dr Choy. Immediately I was blown away with how thorough, compassionate and experienced he and his entire team was. He made such an effort to understand exactly what I wanted. He suggested a bilateral breast lift to help with nipple symmetry and the placement of larger round implants over the muscle to achieve my desired size and aesthetic.

I underwent revision surgery in April 2024, 16 months after my initial procedure. Half an hour before surgery Dr Choy proposed the addition of fat grafting to help conceal the implants. This was an impromptu decision which he offered free of charge. He was so meticulous and committed to achieving an optimal result. He performed a lift on both sides, a reduction on my left, placement of implants (round silicone, both 400cc, over the muscle) and fat grafting. He and his entire team were incredibly supportive during recovery.

I am so grateful that I travelled to see Dr Choy. I am 6 months post op and elated with my results (now 10DD). I couldn’t recommend Dr Choy enough!

Dr Ellis Choy has changed my life!

After 25 years of neck and back pain, suffering with blushing discs and my body changed immensely from childbirth and uneven breast with breastfeeding I decided to finally get a breast enhancement. During my consultation Dr Choy discussed all options I decided on a full Mummy Makeover. Breast Reduction, lift, muscle repair and tummy tuck. It was the best decision I made and should have done it years ago.

Dr Choy and his team made this experience so easy. They are professional, caring, friendly - just amazing! The aftercare and daily contact with my assigned nurse was also brilliant. All my questions answered. All the support needed.

One year on and I have minimal to no neck pain due to the heaviness of my breast previously. I can now bra shop easily and feel so much more comfortable in my own skin again.

My decision to have a tummy tuck and breast reduction/lift was due to size and uncomfortable status of my body, with having four children and a very small frame was exceptionally difficult. My stomach changed after children to a apron and size 16 with great difficult to wear jeans and my breast 16E. As you could imagine the uncomfortable state for both breast and stomach.

After a lifetime of overly large breasts (even larger and hanging much lower since menopause) I finally made the difficult decision to have a breast reduction. I’ve never even been under a full general anaesthetic. Therefore, this decision was a big deal for me and, as I live in a small city, I decided to look around for the best in Australia. From the very first phone call he surprised me with his caring, wholistic and wise manner. He asked me a lot of questions about myself and my lifestyle to make sure I was making the right decision. I never felt rushed or unheard. I didn’t call any other surgeon on my list; I knew he was the right surgeon for me. His entire team of nurses, his anaesthetist, were all the same – totally there for me, communicative and supportive.

The surgery went smoothly, I was under for a long time, this was a major procedure, and the aftercare was superb. During my weeks of recovery I had total access to a dedicated nurse who I could ask anything. I never felt alone or worried as any queries or concerns about if I was doing the right thing were responded to immediately.

The surgery has without a doubt, COMPLETELY CHANGED MY LIFE. Three and a half kilos were removed from my breasts, they have been majestically lifted and are now possibly the youngest looking part of my body. I can exercise considerably more, I am comfortable in my gym gear, no more bra straps digging into my shoulders and back. At last I can buy dresses because I am no longer two different sizes – one from the waist down, another from the waist up, and I can finally see my waist and wear belted garments.
I have healed very well, I followed instructions assiduously, and the scarring has had little or no impact on the aesthetic outcome which has totally exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled and everybody who is close to me and knows how long I have lived with extremely large breasts is very happy for me.
It has given me a new lease on life which is no mean feat at 59 years old!

The care I received at Dr. Ellis' clinic went way above and beyond my expectations. Throughout the whole process I felt safe, cared for and listened to. From the front of house, to the nurses and Dr. Ellis himself they are a well oiled machine that made the whole experience a dream.

I initially did a consultation with Ellis and we spoke about my love of the gym(I was doing crossfit 6 times a week). He wanted to know all about me and my lifestyle so that he could be give his expert opinion on what he thought would suit me.

He laid out 4 different options for me and let me try them on. He suggested 375cc or 420cc teardrop mentor for me as I had a bit of loose breast tissue from having lost alot of weight.

The 420 cc scared the crap out of me so I opted for 375 which I am delighted with now. They suit my body frame really well and they're not so big that I am restricted from doing the exercise I love so much.(although it will be a while before I can do crossfit)

I'm now 6 weeks post op writing this, the after-care has been amazing-i had an incident where a drunk friend lifted me up 2 weeks post op which was incredibly painful, I thought I had ruptured the wound and Ellis very kindly brought me back in for a check up, giving me so much of his time.

I never felt under pressure to make any choices at any time. I was given all the information and empowered to make my own decisions. I look forward to going for my check-ups as the team are so friendly and caring it's like a little family.

I couldn't be happier with the results and the way the recovery is going. The toughest part for me was the 6 weeks no exercise. I went back to the gym at 5 weeks slowly just doing lower body-before then I was just trying to do 10-15000 steps per day.

I would highly recommend Dr. Ellis and his amazing team. I'm only sad I didn't do this a few years ago.

I’ve always interested in breast augmentation since I have a small breast but has been hesitated for many year since I also has Von Willebrand disease to consider.
But this time, after many doing research for the best plastic surgeon around, I have come across Dr. Ellis Choy who have extensive experiences and as well as many great feedback from his patients. I have come to conclusion to right away book in my 1st consult.
After my first consultation with Dr. Choy and his team and how he take his time to explaining and make sure to cover all the details. Especially, consider my blood disease he carefully explain the extra procedures as well as carefully choose hospitals with facilities that can support my condition. Since we never know and patient’s safety is his priority.
His team has prepare a copy of all informations I need to prepare myself before and after surgery as well as a direct contact number to one of the nurse for any future questions regrading surgery and recovery.
The surgery day was reassure by Dr. Choy and an aesthesiologist and nurses who work together to make sure the extra blood procedure is prepared and I’m in a good condition. Everything went professionally well, because of my disease I have to spend a night in the hospital for extra caution but every staffs has reassure that I’m in a good hand especially Dr. Choy himself has come and check on my condition many times to make sure everything is well and safe for me to go home the next day.
The recovery was better than expected, 1 week post opporation appointment was very satisfied since the wound healing well and my breast looking fantastic.
Currently, I am 2 months post surgery, very happy with the results and the whole journey was reassuring and safe.
I am not even a second regret to have go ahead with breast augmentation and have Dr. Choy as my surgeon. Everyday life may not seem to change much but the feeling satisfied every-time looking at myself in the mirror and enjoy wearing clothes that was unable to enjoy in the past have boost up the enjoyment in my life significantly.
