My nostrils are big and the annoying thing is they get bigger when I talk or laugh. If this is my biggest issue - can I fix it without putting a filler to my nose - It is great to have a taller nose but it is not my priority. Also, if I can get my nostrils smaller - later on, If I want to lift up my nose, will it still possible? Please see photo below - with nostrils in normal stage and "bigger stage" :-(. Thanks.

Projecting the tip of your nose (making your tip taller) will reduce the flare of your nostrils but not significantly reduce the width.  Alar base reduction using incisions around your nostrils will be necessary to significantly reduce both the width and the flare of your nostrils.

You are an excellent candidate for nostril reduction with a procedure called alar wedge resection.  A crescent of skin is removed from the edge of the nostril to reduce the size and the scars are almost always imperceptible.  The nice thing about also wedge reduction is that it can be done under local ansesthsia if no other work is being done to the nose.

Your nostrils are certainly something that can be addressed and narrowed by themselves. If there are other issues that you have with your nose I would encourage you to have everything performed simultaneously as to avoid multiple procedures on the nose. However, if you choose to do just the nostrils, you should not have a problem with seeking additional revision procedures in the future.

If you want to get only alar reduction surgery, then you can have it. When I examine your current photos that you attached, you are a good candidate for alar reduction procedure. When it comes to alar reduction surgery procedure, it can be operated by reducing the skin and substantial tissue together at the same time in accordance with the thickness of the nasal alar and the extent of the lateral spread. Based on the photos, I believe you will be happy with the reduction of the nasal tip and elevation of the tip projection, as reduction of the nostrils.  These procedures will make the nasal tip narrower and taller, and nostrils smaller and less flaring.   I recommend you to see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area who is experienced in Asian nasal surgery.
