So my TT w/lips is this Friday and I have a laser hair removal treatment scheduled for tomorrow. It never dawned on me that this might not be ok until just now. Does anyone know if it is ok to have my treatment 4 days prior to my surgery?

Answer: Laser prior TT hi! thanks for the question. i recommend not to, the skin is going to be sensible and sometimes it peels and that has a lot ofbacterias.do your surgery, recover and a month after depending on how its going after surgery you can start again.good luck1

Answer: Hair removal and TT If the hair to be removed is near the surgery,safest to do it another time and not stir up bacteria or risk of the chance of small local burn or peel.Same goes for waxing or blade shave.Mechanical shaving by your doctor probably safest way to minimize wound infection
