The first spot that has opened up is on the right of the zoomed in photo and the very soft new spot is to the left of the first one. When I press on that new spot area of the scar, it feels like it's about to open up. I'm not sure what I should do. Just keep an eye on it?

Answer: New wound opening on tummy tuck scar 3 months after surgery The wounds opening may be stitch abscesses (which will heal easily) or another, likely not concerning processes. I'd discuss the matter with your surgeon. Your result looks great, and your scar looks like it's still immature and healing well. Things should only look better with time. It is imperative that you seek the advice of a plastic surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has extensive experience in tummy tuck/abdominoplasty. I wish you the best. Dr. Gabbay.
