I underwent a breast augmentation in June of 2010 with Dr. Mejia Santana. Labs and exams were done to make sure that I was healthy enough to undergo surgery. After the surgery was done, I was taken to recover in a room with my best friend (which also underwent the same procedure) and had great service from nurses and also Dr. Mejia himself. I went from a 34A to a 34D and I love my results! Recovery was quick, I was back on plane to NYC in 10 days. I am also a nurse and I made sure to follow all antibiotic and pain medication regimens that were set by Dr. Mejia and I had no complications. I'm more than happy with my results, and have no regrets getting my breast done in the Dominican Republic! :)

Best experience of my life! His staff was so accommodating and all my questions were answered immediatley! I am so please with my result and the entire process. I am a registered nurse in the NYC area and going over seas to go under the knife was beyond scary! I asked a million questions, even covered back up power plant incase of a electrical outage (the facility is state or the art). Dr. Mejia is trained by one of the top plastic surgeons in the world (I did my research) and he truly loves his craft. Dr. Mejia's work speaks for it self and after I came home to NYC 5 of my friends flew to DR to have breast augmentation with Dr. Mejia, all of them are very pleased with their results. The facility is clean and I wouldn't recommend any other doctor!!! Started out as a 32 A, small B and now I am a 32D and I LOVE it!!! Recovery was smooth and easy.

For over many years I was struggling with my weight. I got a gastric bypass surgery 3 years ago and lost around 70 pounds. It was very hard for me to get rid of the excess fat on my belly. I was referred to Dr. Mejia by someone that had a procedure done with him and she was very satisfied with the outcome. I contacted Dr. Mejia, he was great at getting back to me he was very clear on all his advice and suggestions beforehand. I traveled to the Dominican Republic met with Dr. Mejia the next day I got there to start the process, as soon as I met him I felt very confortable he once again went through explaining the process, got my blood work done, seen a cardiologist, got many test done. All of this he had me get just to be sure I was ok to get the surgery, which he explained if anything came back abnormal he was not going to be able to do the work. On June 14 Dr. Mejia did my surgery. He did a great job. I couldn't be more thankful, he took great care of me throughout the whole process, of course with his team. I stayed at the hospital for 3 days the room was very nice and cozy it didn't feel like a hospital it felt like I was in a hotel room. The nurses the doctors on call were great, always checking on me. I truly appreciate all of the work. I highly recommend Dr. Mejia and his teammates.

Regarding the surgery procedure is A SURGERY LIKE ANY OTHER AND AS A PATIENT is very important to follow instructions and orders from the doctor. This surgery was just great for me. I HAVE WHAT I ASKED FOR. The doctor was very specific when we talked about sizes, risks factors among others. After extensive research I opted out to traveled from Fort Lauderdale Florida to have my procedure perform by Dr. Eduardo Mejia In Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The entire process was smooth and simple from start to finish. Everything was made so simple, even the surgery center staff was amazing and sweet. He exceeded my expectations on what I thought could be done to my body. I don’t only look sexy. I FEEL SEXY! And I will never get tired of hearing how great I look. One of my friends and sister had surgery with the doctor and i liked his work. I had mi consultation a year before my procedure when i visit DR and i didn't think twice he was the one. He works in a big private hospital with all the commodities. He make the transition before the surgery very smooth and price is affordable. I will go back to him if I need to do another procedure.
