Prominent veins are common on the breasts and these can be removed during a breast lift procedure. The vascularity of your breasts will be unchanged by a normal breast lift. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
Prominent veins on the breasts are normal and will not prevent you from having a breast lift. Seek a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to see if you are a candidate.
Such veins around the areola are completely normal. It's possible to do surgery around them without difficulty, and it's even possible to remove them during such surgery if they bother a patient, without much consequence.
Hi, Ftely. It seems like you have a fairly thin skin. Everyone has veins in the breasts. Your particular vein is located in superficial plane; since your breast skin is thin, it is more obvious to see the vein. You can get lift. The vein should not affect your surgery. Please visit with a board-certified plastic surgeon to learn about breast lift.
Thanks for sharing your question andphotos. I can appreciate your concern. The vein is simply a superficial outflow of blood from yourbreast. It should not affect the main supply of blood to your breast nor yournipple. The blood supply to these structures is deep and it should be ok withyour breast procedure. Finally, make sure that you have aconsultation with a board certified plastic surgeon that specializes in afterweight loss surgery. Finally, make sure that your doctor isaware of your process. He should be able to guide you best in your care.Wishing you the best in your journey
Hello. The vein that is visible around your Argila is completely normal and does not preclude you from having a breast lift and areola reduction. Seek consultation from a BCPS. Be well. Dr. B
