I've wanted a boob job for as long as I can remember. I never HATED my boobs, I just wanted.. more. I talked it over with friends, and decided to just bite the bullet and do it. I made an appointment to see Dr. Laufer (my friend had her augmentation done by him) and while I was still extremely nervous, I scheduled the surgery and gave my down payment the same day. I got very lucky, recovery was a breeze for me. The worst part was the constipation from the pain killers, but that wasn't too bad either. And the NIPPLE SENSITIVITY, omg. Around the 1.5 week mark, they started to just HURT. Anything that touched/grazed them was awful. So I taped them down for a couple days, and that helped a lot. I'm now a little over 2 weeks post op, and I have zero regrets! (Other than not doing this sooner..) to anybody who's on the fence about it... do it! I'm 5'2", was a ~34B and am now ~32DD. I got natrelle 365cc HP silicone in both sides Updated on 25 Jan 2022: Soo I ordered some bras online after measuring myself at a 32DD and they were too small Looking at a 34DDD now. Way bigger than the C cup I asked for… but eh they look nice lol… Settling nicely and getting softer by the day
Amazing, trustworthy and very skilled surgeon! He listened to everything I ask from him and did what noone else was willing to do for me - a breast lift with augmentation + galaflex through a tiny incision on the bottom half of areaola. Result is incredible, natural looking.
I have wanted my breasts more full once I was in my 20's. Soon to be 40 years old, I finally decided to have my breasts done .34c pre op, post op HP mentors 475 cc. Now a DD. Dr. Laufer and his staff are exceptional. Beyond professional and very empathetic! Highly recommend! Updated on 5 Oct 2019: Before and after 1 day post op Updated on 7 Oct 2019: They are starting to drop , I am liking them more every day Updated on 13 Oct 2019: They are amazing , I love how natural they look already even as high profile implants. I think they look more natural because of the technique he used. He placed them subfascially Which is supposed to produce a more natural result and give you a little lift! Updated on 21 Oct 2019: Updated on 23 Oct 2019: Right breast is dropping faster so they look weird. But def look bigger as time goes on :) Updated on 5 Nov 2019: Left breast is still trying to catch up with the right. Love them, getting softer , I still can’t believe these are HP Updated on 3 Dec 2019: Loving them more every day! Getting softer every day. They definitely look and feel natural, I forget I have them sometimes. Updated on 18 May 2020: Loving my results , wanted them to look and feel very natural and they do, just as soft as they were pre implants Updated on 6 Oct 2020: Size 34G, I wanted natural looking breast’s , I’m sure I will need a lift in a few years. But no complaints, still love them Updated on 6 Oct 2020:
I told him my issue with the boobs being too big and feeling heavy and saggy. He offered me to go 100 cc's smaller and do the donut lift. This was everything I hoped for and more I couldn't believe how amazing he made me look !!! He got me ready for la!!!!!!!!! To start my modeling and acting with a more modest look. After over ten years of these amazing silicone implants I had a baby that only wanted to breast feed on one side and so I pumped on the other but developed a capsular contracture. Sadly I knew I had to redo my perfect sought after boobs . Living in la i seeked out referells from friends. I hid my capsular so well in bras but naked it was so obvious and bothered me ... actual date of procedure with this doctor was 2005 Updated on 5 Sep 2019: Updated on 14 Sep 2019: Hey! If your reading this review please see my other reviews as I told my story I'll insert pics of how amazing my breast were pre capsular , then what happened to them , then how I hid the capsular in bras &bikinis and how my new boobs look!
Dr. Laufer was very professional and wonderful and made me feel extremely comfortable. The entire staff made the entire process pleasant. I would highly recommend Dr. Laufer and his entire staff to any of my family and friends.
I had to use "Laser Treatment" in the real-self drop-down box as there is no J-Plasma category yet - although I've been told this treatment is NOT a Laser. I did as much research as was possible on this prior to signing up for the treatment and was impressed enough with the safety and efficacy to go ahead. My Dr., Erel Laufer of Dunedin, FL is well respected, has years of experience, and is a real sweetie. (A very warm and genuine individual who you feel is actually conversing with you, rather than speaking in a disconnected zombie-like fashion which I have found is far too prevalent in the medical field in general.) Additionally, he fixed my nose years ago and the result was excellent. Dr. Laufer suggested General Anesthesia for this procedure for optimal comfort - but I asked if I could have local and he agreed to it. Now here's the rub on that: It wasn't easy. Two Halcion tablets, topical numbing cream, and many injections of local anesthetic (ouch!) and I still felt it in places. (Not everywhere - but maybe 50% of my face.) Not at all pleasant, but doable. I will add that I have always had a high tolerance for pain - so I was surprised. They say it is virtually painless - perhaps that is true for some, but not for me for whatever reason. So, just keep in mind that if your Dr is offering General Anesthesia for this, you may want to consider it. Why did I do this? For general tightening of face, reduction in some scarring and overall resurfacing and refreshment of the facial area. (I am 59 years old. Skin not AWFUL overall, but a few definite trouble spots and general normal laxity for my age.) I have had various laser treatments in the past - virtually worthless. I vowed if I were ever going to do something similar again - it would have to look like something revolutionary was available - and I believe this could very well be the real deal. Recovery: Ick.! Not painful - just very uncomfortable. Greasy, tight, swelling that semi-obscures vision. If you do it definitely have some sleeping medication or tranquilizers prescribed (as I did) or you will not be able to sleep for at least the first few nights. I am two days post now and look hideous. (No pain no gain as they say.) But from what I am seeing so far, this thing looks like it will be transformational. Sheets of bad "face" are already starting to slough. Will update in another few days. The Good Doc says I am proceeding well and right on schedule thus far. Seeing him again tomorrow. Will also post a pic or two when this is all over......and maybe a before pic too, if I can figure out how to blur the eyes out! PS: Speaking of eyes - J-plasma is so precise it can do right under the eyes and eyelids as well....and from what I have seen regarding before and after pictures of other people - THAT really makes a a difference. Updated on 24 Mar 2018: I had this procedure on 3/20. Today is 3/24. Recovery has continued to be a gooey mess - still uncomfortable but not painful. Today, however, I feel as if I am turning a corner. Still oozing a bit, but swelling is starting to subside and skin does not feel quite as sunburn-y and annoying. The hideousness I saw in the mirror since day one (which was about a 10 on a scale of 1 - 10) is now about a 7. Progress! Saw Doctor Laufer Friday - he was very supportive and says I am doing fine. Going back to see him in three days at which point I hope to look reasonably human. Updated on 25 Mar 2018: Lots of dead skin and ick stuff (God knows what) is sloughing from my face. Waking up in the morning is the worst part. The protective face grease dries up overnight and everything feels tight (especially around the eyes) and I can barely open them until I grease up again. The Doc also did under my chin and my earlobes (which is nice!) but they are additional areas to grease up. So basically, I have been a walking grease-bomb. Feel pretty good today (except for the grease-gross which is HARD to get out of your hair when you are trying to be careful of your face.) As I mentioned previously, I am seeing the Doc again Tuesday and will post another update and maybe another picture. Below is a before pic. Updated on 21 Apr 2018: Well, parts of me certainly look better -- but I must say parts of my face are still in recovery mode. Ears and under chin have had prolonged crusting and swelling. 80% resolved now, I'd say. Face still feels slightly sand-paper-y and tight in spots and dead skin still surfacing now and then. I am going to reserve judgment until the three month mark - at which point I will likely post some kind of picture. My skin is on the dark side of medium and thick. (Italian). May be that lighter skinned types have an easier time of it. This was no picnic. I hope it was money well spent - if so, it will have all been worth it - but honestly, unsure as of it. Will keep you posted!
I am a 40 year old mom of 2 young children and after turning 40 I wanted to do something about the "pooch" on my belly that I can't get rid of despite diet and exercise. I tried another "fat loss" device, Liposonix, on the market and it was so painful that I could not finish the procedure. I felt like my abdomen was going to explode when I had liposonix done. Cool sculpting is amazing! I comfortably was treated and most importantly I got through the treatment and I have amazing results. I would recommend Cool Sculpting to anyone looking to reduce fat. I'm a happy patient!
Tired of looking at saggy misshapen breasts. The pain was worth the outcome. They are beautiful! The staff Julie, Nicole and Patricia were wonderful. Doctor Laufer and his staff are warm caring people that really seem to care about you.went over the entire procedure with me and when he was done I felt I chose the right Doctor.
This was the absolute best decision of my life. My nose is absolutely perfect and everyone agrees. Not only is it natural but it looks like a nose out of a magazine. I'm 22 and wish I got this earlier. I'm going to Dr. Laufer and his staff for everything including facial care. My favorite thing aside from the cosmetic result was his bedside manner and his staff that was on call and responsive no matter what. Thanks Dr. Laufer !!
I had breast augmentation done with Dr Laufer in 1997 and he was then and still is the most caring, considerate, and professional doctor I've ever gone to. His staff was caring and all of them made you feel comfortable despite the circumstances. Furthermore, my breasts look as good now as they did shortly after the surgery. His skill and expertise as a plastic surgeon is unquestionable.
the area you are pointing at is the area of the nasal tip and the columella. The tip seems to be lacking definition probably from scarring. The columella shows the surgical scar but also the left medial foot plate is being "pushed" into the nostril, most likely by the caudal septum.
The advices given by the other surgeons are sound ,I would like to suggest the remote possibility that there might be a foreign body present in the wound that impedes the healing and allow bacteria to colonize the wound.
while breast augmentation can "perk" up the breasts it can not be a substitute to a mastopexy .The breasts are sagging.as a general rule (not absolute) if the nipples are at or below the infra mammary crease and there is a need for some lifting procedure.
it is hard to assess the size of the implants needed without a consultation and measurements.
It is totally understandable that at 15 days after the surgery you still have swelling and tenderness of the noseMy suggestion for you is to go back to your plastic surgeon and let him/her examine you and let you know what to expect.
