The immediate tightening of Ultherapy is a real effect but it is a small component of the end result's lifting that is created by six or more months of collagen production and tightening. REsults last for a few years but we're all getting older every day we live and the newer collagen continues to age as well. The average duration in my patients seems to be about 1 and a half to two years, although I have had patients still happy four years after their Ultherapy. The information provided in Dr. Shelton'sanswer is for educational purposes only and is not intendedto constitute medical advice. The results from Ultherapy are seen after about 6-12 months. You get slow improvement as the area creates new collagen. The results should last several years.
It can take 4-6 months to see the full effect from an Ultherapy treatment. The longevity of the results depend mostly on the aging of the patient. The effect from the treatment is not temporary, but the patient will continue to age, so the appearance will change over time. I would say the results could last a few years in the best case scenario.
Hi and thank you for your question! We find the results of Ultherapy to show over the course of 3-8 months, depending on the patient. Most often 6 months is the peak time. We find the results last anywhere from 1 - 3 years. Most often around 2 years. We use a unique technique where we treat 3 layers of the tissue to maximize the results. Best, Dr. Grant Stevens
That is the time frame for maximal collagen stimulation. This will depend on your immune system, technique, and number of lines performed with Ultherapy. Collagen stimulation does need time, and 4-6 months is a realistic time frame. For most patients, one can expect top ups every 18- 24 months, however less 'lines' or treatment time is usually needed for subsequent sessions, providing the initial Ultherapy session was performed correctly.
