I had ullt abaut 3 weeks ago wıll be a month march 8 ı have paın and some numnes at my face and neck ıt hurts when ı touch my skın ıs thıs normal also ı have several heat waves at my neck area lıkehot flashes

The sensory nerves can be inflamed after Ultherapy and therefore some patchy numbness along the jaw and upper neck may result up to 6 weeks. Tenderness or soreness to the touch is part of the same normal process.Be assure it will improve and not to worry. We see this in 30-40 % of our cases and it is always temporary.

Thank you for your Question.The symptoms that you are experiencing are not expected and you should see the provider for guidance. Numbness can result from aggressive treatments with high energy levels and should have caused pain or discomfort during the procedure. If severe pain is experienced during this procedure, the energy settings should  be reduced immediately to reduce the likelihood of nerve injury and inflammation. The good news is that such nerve injury should be temporary.Dr Karamanoukian
