I have not been able to find anything on this subject online. I know Ultherapy is concentrated energy at a depth of about 4.5mm, but just want to be sure there is absolutely NO heating (or other possible effect) on brain tissue. Thank you!

Ultherapy would not be my first choice for a young person like you for enhancement of the jawline. Ultimately your best will probably be a chin implant with liposuction under the chin. If you absolutely want nonsurgical options, you could have fillers placed in the chin and Kybella under the chin.
The sensory nerves can be inflamed after Ultherapy and therefore some patchy numbness along the jaw and upper neck may result up to 6 weeks. Tenderness or soreness to the touch is part of the same normal process.Be assure it will improve and not to worry. We see this in 30-40 % of our cases and...
