Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. If your chest has a discrete fluid collection, it needs to be drained in order to allow the skin to retract as much as possible. If no fluid is present I would recommend a compression garment to help with swelling until the tissues fully heal. A better evaluation on treatment options can then be had. Hope this helps.
I can understand your frustration. In some cases, surgery is staged if there is a considerable amount of excess tissue, in order to avoid scars and maximize skin contraction. This is something a surgeon would have discussed prior to surgery. It does sometimes takes weeks or even months to see the final result. Stay in close touch with your plastic surgeon's office, and follow the instructions of your surgeon carefully. A revision surgery can be performed, but I hope you continue to see improvement.
