Dr. Curtis is amazing. He was very attentive to my questions. He was thorough in explaining everything ahead of time. He takes him time with his patients and his work is impeccable. Thank you Dr. Curtis!
I had a very good experience from beginning to end with beautologie and Dr Curtis. They were very thoroughly in answering all my questions leading up to the appt and after. I am happy with my results and will go back for other procedures in the future.
I was super scared to have any cosmetic procedure done, just because I’ve always loved my petite natural body up until breastfeeding my child & loosing volume in my breast. I was looking for a medical office & dr who made me feel comfortable & confident they can give me the results I’m hoping for- super natural, same look as my natural breast but just a little bigger & perkier. I had multiple consultations elsewhere & even had a date set w a deposit down at another office & I cancelled days prior bc I did not feel comfortable, I felt like I wasn’t given enough info on my surgery by the office or had any pre-op appointments. After waiting a few months I decided to start looking again & I came across Beautologie, I had a consult & within that first appt they shared more info with me than any other office had. The vibes were good, I felt confident about the surgery & trusted I was in good hands. I was contacted multiple times with more info about pre-op, surgery day & post op & I also received encouraging emails/texts leading up to my surgery date. My surgery went really well, my recovery went great & my results are everything I prayed for! Dr.Curtis listened to everything I was asking & hoping for, he also told me what he recommended for my body type & look I wanted to achieve. He also contacted me days before surgery & after surgery to make sure everything was well & I didn’t have any questions. I really recommended this office & Dr.Curtis if you’re looking for more natural results!
After losing 80lbs I was stuck with loose skin that bothered me A LOT! Even tho I lost all the weight, my lose skin on my stomach made me feel like I was still overweight. I couldn’t fit into any pant smaller then size 5 because of the excess skin.. Dr. Curtis did an amazing surgery and all the staff there made Me feel very comfortable.I feel 100% better in my clothing and I can now fit into size 0 jeans ????
My breast augmentation is scheduled for 3/21/22, Dr.Curtis called me last Saturday and we spoke about sizing and any questions I had. He was absolutely amazing. He put my mind at ease and as I spoke to him all my nervousness went out the window. I can’t wait to meet him in person. I will update after my surgery on Monday, but as of right now I have no fears because I completely trust in his skill and experience. Updated on 22 Mar 2022: First off let me just say this man is amazing!!! When he came in to mark me up we discussed every detail and was very informative. He spoke with my husband and even my husband agreed I chose the right dr!! The absolute best part was walking into the OR and hearing Still tippin by Mike Jones, one of my all time favorite songs!!! So I got to fall asleep to that. Waking up in recovery was a breeze and the entire surgery team was just THE BEST!! Updated on 21 Apr 2022: So I went in for my 1 month check up and I was told everything looks beautiful. The girls are dropping nicely and nipple placement is amazing!! My scars look great, and I won’t complain at all about them because I had some little bitty wrikley boobies before so to me these scars are beautiful, and yay no more tape!! I am two days postop. I wanted to start my review now because I wanted to make sure anyone considering Dr. Curtis knows what a great surgeon he is. I will post my photos later. His bedside manner is amazing. You can tell that he has a passion for what he does. I am so excited to see my results. He really targeted the areas that I have been the most insecure about my entire life in the area I’ve been most insecure about the last three years. I had back Lipo and a tummy tuck. He also completed a fupa reduction. Which I can say I’m probably the most excited to see the end results of. If you’re considering surgery please get a consultation with him. You won’t regret it. I will show photos when I’m less swollen.
Dr. Curtis is amazing. He called me the day before my breast augmentation surgery to make sure I was ok and to ease any nervousness I might have had. The day of surgery he was very professional and patient as I explained my concerns about scarring. I am prone to getting keloid scars and he made a note of that and said he will be sure to be extra gentle and careful. I went with 350cc silicone implants and am super happy with the results. I wanted a natural look that would fit my body and that's what Dr. Curtis delivered. I was released the same day of surgery to go home. Recovery time was about a week. Dr. Curtis also performed the mommy makeover on a friend of mine who is super happy with her results as well. Highly recommend him! Updated on 18 Aug 2021: I’m 4 months post op now. Boobs feel natural and soft. They look really natural as well. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone a size bigger, instead of the 350cc, maybe 400cc instead. I’m happy to report no keloid scarring! My scar is still red but it’s a flat line and I am applying the scar stick they provided every night.
Dr. Kurtis is amazing and comforting! Getting a Breast Reduction is a scary decision and I promise Dr. Kurtis makes you believe in the unbelievable! I am beyond thankful to his expertise and caring attitude. Thank you for no back pain! 36 DDD to 36 C My story- 35 yr old, 36 DDD since I was 14ish. The timing of starting fertility treatment after silicone breast implant removal can vary depending on several factors, including your overall health, the reason for implant removal, and your plastic surgeon's recommendations. Here are some general considerations: 1. Healing Time: Your body needs time to heal after breast implant removal surgery. It's essential to allow sufficient time for the incisions to heal, swelling to subside, and any potential complications to be addressed before starting fertility treatment. 2. Consultation with Healthcare Providers: Before starting fertility treatment, it's crucial to consult with both your surgeon who performed the implant removal and your fertility specialist. They can assess your individual situation and provide recommendations based on your health status and the specifics of your surgery. 3. Hormonal Balance: Breast implant removal surgery can sometimes affect hormonal balance, which may impact fertility. Your healthcare providers may want to monitor your hormone levels and ensure they are stable before starting fertility treatment. 4. Personal Factors: Considerations such as your age, reproductive health, and any underlying medical conditions may also influence the timing of fertility treatment after breast implant removal. 5. Post-Operative Recovery: It's essential to prioritize your post-operative recovery and give your body time to heal fully before undergoing additional medical procedures, including fertility treatment. Ultimately, the decision on when to start fertility treatment after silicone breast implant removal should be made in collaboration with your healthcare providers. They can provide you with guidance and recommendations based on your individual circumstances and help ensure that you're in the best possible health before starting fertility treatment.
Tissue necrosis, where a portion of tissue dies due to compromised blood supply, is a rare but serious complication that can occur after any surgical procedure, including breast reduction surgery. The healing process for tissue necrosis can vary widely depending on the severity of the necrosis and individual factors such as overall health and the extent of the surgical intervention. In less severe cases where only a small area of tissue is affected, the necrosis may heal on its own with appropriate wound care, which may involve cleaning the wound, applying dressings, and possibly using medications to promote healing. Healing time for minor tissue necrosis can range from a few weeks to a few months. However, in more severe cases where a larger area of tissue is affected, surgical intervention may be necessary to remove the necrotic tissue and promote healing. In these instances, the healing process may be prolonged, and additional treatments such as skin grafts or flap reconstruction may be required to restore the appearance and function of the breast. It's essential to closely monitor the healing process after breast reduction surgery and report any signs of tissue necrosis, such as changes in skin color, texture, or sensation, to your plastic surgeon immediately. Early detection and intervention can help minimize complications and promote optimal healing outcomes. Your plastic surgeon will provide guidance and support throughout the healing process to ensure the best possible outcome.
If you have asthma and you're scheduled for a breast lift with implants or any other surgical procedure, it's crucial to inform both your plastic surgeon and the anesthesia team about your asthma and any medications you're taking for it. Asthma medications are generally important for managing your condition and ensuring your respiratory health, so it's essential to discuss the following points with your healthcare provider: 1. Medication Management: Your plastic surgeon and anesthesia team will need to know the specific asthma medications you're taking, including inhalers, oral medications, or any other treatments. They will provide guidance on whether to continue taking your asthma medications before the procedure or make any adjustments as necessary. 2. Assessment of Asthma Control: Your healthcare providers may assess your asthma control before the procedure to ensure that your condition is well-managed and stable. This assessment may involve evaluating your symptoms, lung function tests, and overall asthma control. 3. Preoperative Instructions: Based on your asthma severity, medication regimen, and overall health status, your healthcare team will provide instructions on managing your asthma before the procedure. This may include guidance on when to take your asthma medications, whether any adjustments are needed, and how to manage asthma symptoms leading up to the surgery. 4. Anesthesia Considerations: The anesthesia team will consider your asthma and medication history when planning anesthesia for the procedure. They may take precautions to minimize the risk of asthma exacerbations during and after surgery and ensure optimal respiratory function throughout the procedure. 5. Postoperative Care: Your healthcare providers will provide guidance on managing your asthma during the postoperative period, including any adjustments to your medication regimen, monitoring for asthma symptoms, and seeking medical attention if necessary. Overall, it's essential to communicate openly with your healthcare providers about your asthma and any concerns you may have before undergoing surgery. By working together, you can develop a comprehensive plan to ensure your safety and well-being throughout the surgical process.
Yes, a rhinoplasty (nose reshaping surgery) and breast fat transfer can often be performed during the same surgical session, depending on the specific circumstances of the patient and the plastic surgeon's preferences. Combining multiple procedures in a single surgery, also known as combination or staged surgery, can offer several potential benefits, including: 1. Reduced Overall Recovery Time: Undergoing multiple procedures simultaneously can consolidate the overall recovery time, allowing you to return to your normal activities sooner than if each procedure were performed separately. 2. Synchronized Results: Combining procedures can ensure that the aesthetic changes achieved in both the nose and breasts complement each other harmoniously, leading to more cohesive and balanced results. 3. Cost Savings: Performing multiple procedures in a single surgical session may result in cost savings compared to undergoing each procedure separately, as it reduces operating room and anesthesia expenses. 4. One-Time Anesthesia: Combining procedures allows the patient to undergo anesthesia only once, which can minimize the risks associated with anesthesia and reduce overall procedure time. However, it's essential to consider several factors before deciding to undergo combination surgery, including: 1. Overall Health and Safety: Combining procedures increases the complexity and duration of surgery, which may pose additional risks, particularly for patients with certain medical conditions or risk factors. Your plastic surgeon will carefully evaluate your health status and medical history to determine whether combined surgery is appropriate for you. 2. Surgical Considerations: Some procedures may require specific positioning or post-operative care that could potentially interfere with the recovery process of the other procedure. Your plastic surgeon will discuss any potential considerations or limitations associated with combining rhinoplasty and breast fat transfer. 3. Patient Preference and Goals: It's essential to communicate your aesthetic goals and priorities with your plastic surgeon to ensure that combined surgery aligns with your expectations and desired outcomes. Ultimately, the decision to undergo combined rhinoplasty and breast fat transfer surgery should be made in collaboration with your plastic surgeon after a thorough evaluation of your individual circumstances, goals, and medical considerations. Your plastic surgeon will provide recommendations and guidance to help you make an informed decision about the best approach for achieving your desired results.
Gynecomastia surgery, also known as male breast reduction surgery, is a procedure to reduce the size of enlarged male breasts. Kenalog (triamcinolone acetonide) is a corticosteroid medication sometimes used in the treatment of gynecomastia, particularly in cases where there is inflammation or scar tissue formation after surgery. However, overuse or misuse of Kenalog injections can lead to complications and undesirable side effects. If you've experienced complications due to the overuse of Kenalog injections after gynecomastia surgery, it's important to consult with a plastic surgeon. They can evaluate your specific situation and determine the best course of action to address any issues that have arisen. Some potential approaches to addressing complications from overuse of Kenalog injections after gynecomastia surgery may include: 1. Discontinuation of Kenalog injections: Ceasing further injections of Kenalog can help prevent additional complications and allow your body to recover from any adverse effects. 2. Management of side effects: Depending on the nature and severity of the side effects you're experiencing, your plastic surgeon may recommend treatments to alleviate symptoms and promote healing. This could include medications, topical treatments, or other interventions as appropriate. 3. Revision surgery: In some cases, revision surgery may be necessary to correct complications resulting from overuse of Kenalog injections or other issues related to gynecomastia surgery. Revision surgery may involve removing excess scar tissue, adjusting the placement of the incisions, or addressing other concerns to achieve a more satisfactory outcome. 4. Close monitoring and follow-up: It's essential to maintain regular follow-up appointments with your plastic surgeon to monitor your progress, address any ongoing concerns, and ensure that you're healing properly. It's crucial to seek care from a skilled and experienced plastic surgeon to address any complications or concerns related to gynecomastia surgery or the use of Kenalog injections. They can provide recommendations based on your individual circumstances and help you achieve the best possible outcome.
