As you can see in my photos, I have very high/defined cheekbones and a square jaw. It’s not that I hate my cheekbones or jaw, but let’s just say I hate the hallow/skeleton effect between them. I’m 28yrs old and I’ve always had this face shape/type. However after losing weight recently, just eating super healthy, I went from 130lbs to 110lbs (I’m 5’3 and small boned). It’s VERY pronounced. I hate the hallow gap. Can fillers help without changing my face shape entirely?
Answer: Fillers for hollow cheeks Thank you for your question. Fillers can be helpful in this regard. Please consult with a qualified and experienced injector to find out which product, and how much of it, is best for you. All the best!

Answer: Filling in cheek hollowness with fillers Fillers can be used to fill in hollowness below cheekbones. Make sure to go to a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is ALSO very experienced using fillers in this area. Some very excellent doctors just “dabble” in fillers and this area requires a lot of expertise.

Answer: Facial Fillers Linabina87. Proceed with caution! You have a beautiful face with well-defined and extremely attractive features. I appreciate your desire to fill-in areas lost from your recent weight loss, however correction should be extremely conservative. Overcorrection will look extremely fake and detract from your already very pretty face. Also start out with a non-permanent filler, in case the result is not pleasing to you. Be certain to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist however, consider doing nothing at all!

Answer: Facial fillers in the mid cheek region The area that you are referring to can certainly be modified with dermal fillers. Caution needs to be exercised to prevent lumpiness from occurring after filler injection. The area that needs to be addressed is the hollow area below your zygomatic arch (your high cheekbone) down to the angle of the mandible (your jawline). A small amount of filler in front of the ear between the zygoma and angle of the mandible will soften the extreme definition that you have. A bit more filler more anteriorly into the midface will also treat this issue.

Answer: Restoring Volume To The Area Below The Cheeks Fillers can be used to improve the volume in the area of your concern. However, I would prefer Sculptra to this area as it would give you a more natural, longer lasting result. It will probably be more cost effective in the long run too. Make sure you see an experienced physician provider for an in-person consultation and evaluation. Best wishes.
