Is using a massage table face cradle after filler ok?

Great question!  I tell my patients to wait at least 24 hours after their Botox treatment and at least 48 hours after their cheek or temple filler before they can lay face down on a face cradle.

Hello and thank you for your question.  I don't recommend getting a massage within the first 24-48 hours after Botox and 2 weeks after filler.  It is not likely the filler will move out of place after a day or two, however, pressure for an extended period of time from a massage table can interfere with healing, as there will be some swelling and bruising in the areas treated. Hope this helps.

I would wait a total of at least 14 days to be sure it is all settled before getting a massage. Hope this helps!

Hello there! After two full weeks, the filler injected should be healed enough to not be affected. I would still be careful to not apply an extreme amount of pressure on that area. Cheers! Sarah RN BSN 

Thank you for your question. For neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport, I would avoid placing your face in a massage cradle for 48 hours. This is probably on the cautious side but why take an avoidable risk. For dermal fillers, I would recommend waiting 7-10 days.
