Hello, I have had deepish tear troughs for a few years now from genetics, and have been bothered by them for a while now. I'm aware I also have thin skin under my eyes which cause some of the darkness, but I'm fine covering that with concealer if I have to, my main concern was the crease I have there. So I was wondering if despite that I could still get good results with filler. I have provided pictures in direct sun light and in overhead lighting as well. Thanks :)
Hello, I had fillers put in around my nasolabial folds because I was losing volume around the mouth. However, now I have vertical lines next to the corner of my mouth that are becoming more noticeable. What can be done to diminish the look of these?
I'm interested in softening the sharp vertical line of my jawline to create a more curved appearance, but I want to avoid making my face look chubby from the front. I've heard that fillers via cannula on top of the jaw and chin implant might be an option. However, I've been warned that using a needle instead of a cannula via a side angle could increase the risk of infection. What's the best approach to achieve a more curved jawline without fattening the front view of my face? Edited to add: Unfortunately, fat transfer is not an option for me. I have an athletic body with 13% body fat (no fat to collect).
More scientific literature and surgeons speaking as to how fillers make future facelifts more difficult (albeit not impossible) given formation of scar tissue. I understand this is particularly the case with non-HA based fillers like Radiesse and Sculptra, but are HA based fillers like Restalyne also bad in this regard (ie, making future facelift difficult)? Also - what are places in face that to get filler that least impact future facelift? I understand jawline for eg may be tough given near incision area, but what about zygos, nose, etc? Is it more acceptable if I space out 15 years apart?
Im considering having fat graft to upper lid and under eyes so I need to dissolve the fillers in those areas first. How long will the swelling takes to come down to be able to determine how much fat to inject? Thanks.
I've only recently become more aware of how asymmetrical my smile is. One side is downturned and the other is upturned - so naturally 1 side is higher than the other. My top lip also moves in a different direction to my bottom lip. (See photos) I've previously tried Botox in my DAO, which hasn't been super effective. Are there any treatments (surgical/non-surgical) that can correct this?
23y/o male. These lines started appearing when I turned 18 and have been getting worse. They were very faint at first but have been becoming worse. I feel like it might be a lot of volume loss under my eyes and around my nose. But im confused why this happens at my age. I did gain weight these last years, so I'm wondering if maybe this could have caused this (more volume in the midface, which makes it around seem hollow). Im losing weight first now. What could this be and how to treat it?
10 years ago, Belotero caused eye bags. In 2022, I had HA filler for my orbital/cheek ridge and asked MD to avoid the orbital. He put 2ml in tear troughs/cheeks. I had immediate under eye bag, which persists and exaggerates the ridge, even as the filler fades. Is re-treating asking for trouble? Does my facial structure make me less suitable for fillers? Are alternative treatments more advisable? Thank you!
