Thank you for your question. I do not recommend compression socks after a Brazilian butt lift surgery.
Hello and thank you for your question. I do not ask my patients to use compression socks after a BBL, what I ask my patients after the procedure is to walk every two hours per 15 minutes, I also use a SCD during the procedure which is a method of DVT prevention that improves blood flow in the legs. I do not see any problem with using compression socks, ask your board certified plastic surgeon.
Dear LenaSZ,every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Dear Lena,While compression socks are not required, there is nothing wrong with wearing them especially if you have any other issues.Generally speaking, the socks come in low medium and high compression. The medium are usually more than adequate. Best of luck.Dr T
there is no standard protocol for using compression stockings after a BBL. I would guess most plastic surgeons won’t even mention the use of these for postoperative care.ask your surgeon and if you don’t have one I suggest having a few in person consultationsWith board-certified plastic surgeons in your area.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Thank you for your question. There is a misunderstanding that BBL is banned in the UK but this is not true. Surgery should be done in a licensed facility or hospital by a surgeon with the proper experience and qualification, having explained all the risks and complications. The...
Fat is a great filler because it has long lasting results. After a BBL, some fat will be lost during the first few months but after that it should last long term. However the size of the buttocks will fluctuate with weight gain and weight loss. However it should not go away completely after a...
Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and ...
Dear naynay46, you should be healthy prior to elective procedures. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Daniel Barrett, MD Certified,...
Dear mamacitaamia, You should discuss this with your plastic surgeon and anesthesiologist. But my guess is that minor scoliosis won't be a problem for spinal anesthesia. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after...
