Breasts peeling after breast augmentation

Hi, it's unlikely to be the breast implants that cause breast skin peeling. However it may be a reaction to the dressings/ strappings (if used) that were applied post operatively or the post operative bra that you may be using. I would ask your surgeon whether a dermatologist review/ referral is appropriate.

Thank you for your question.  My advice is to have your peeling skin evaluated by a dermatologist or perhaps follow-up with your plastic surgeon.  Peeling would not be related to your implants.  Best of luck.

Hello, thank you for your recent question.  I am sorry you are having to go through this after your recent surgery. It is good you are applying a daily lotion to your breasts however I think you should follow up with your plastic surgeon or a dermatologist to control this skin condition. Best of Luck! 

Thank you for your question. It is difficult to answer your question fully without a photo. However, it is not unusual to develop dry skin after a breast augmentation and you should moisturise the area twice a day. If this continues beyond six weeks, I would recommend seeing your surgeon or a dermatologist.

Mel.  Sorry you are having these issues, however hard to advise without photographs or physical examination. The dryness and peeling of your skin may be secondary to just dry skin, but I would definitely follow up with your plastic surgeon and also ask for a recommendation for a dermatologist as well. Hello and thank you for your question. It is unlikely that the breast implants are causing this skin sensitivity and peeling of the breast skin. It could be from the dressings/surgical garments you have been using after surgery. Please consult with your surgeon. 

Hello and thank you for your question. Some times when the skin is inflamed it is more likely to peel especially if that inflamed skin is exposed to sun. Since so much time has passed since your surgery I would follow up with your Dermatologist. Good luck to you!
