QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Hello and thank you for your question. From the pictures you posted above, a breast lift/reduction could definitely benefit you to get your breasts more even when it comes to size as well as getting your nipples in a better position. Several women have asymmetries such as one breast being larger than the other, one nipple sitting higher than the other, the width of your breasts, as well as the crease of your breasts can be different. You definitely want to research a board certified plastic surgeon that specializes in breasts to get you the best result possible. I also would recommend that your weight be stable. If you were to get this surgery done and if you had any major weight loss/gain, this could alter the results of the surgery. The surgeon who performs your surgery should go over all details with you. Good luck to you on your journey!

Hello and thank you for your question. You absolutely can do a secondary lift. Depending on how your breasts sit now and your measurements will depend on what type of lift the surgeon will decide to do. The type of lift you had is called a vertical lift. If the surgeon decides to do a full lift on you, you will be left with the lollipop scar as well as an anchor scar, which is placed in the crease of your breasts. I would recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon to find out which type of lift would be best for you. It is also helpful if you bring your records from the surgeon that did your first surgery. Good luck to you!

Hello and thank you for your question. Swelling can last for at least 2 weeks if not more sometimes. It's hard to tell without a picture if the swelling under the arm is completely normal, but from previous patients this can be normal. I would continue to ice and take your medications. If the problem has not gotten better within two weeks or if you feel that something isn't right, consulting with your surgeon is always best. Good luck to you on your recovery process!

Hello and thank you for your question. If you are choosing between 350-375cc, the difference of 25cc is equivalent to less than an ounce. It will not give you that extra cup size, it will only give you an extra bump in your bra. You wont go wrong with either choice. I tend to recommend going with the middle to upper end of what your surgeon recommends due to patients getting used to swelling after surgery. Good luck to you with your surgery.

Will PRP work for my hair? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Hello and thank you for your question. PRP injections to the scalp will be helpful in increasing the density of the hair and preventing further shedding. It may be beneficial to you to also have hormones and thyroid checked to see if there is an underlying cause for your recent hair loss. Good luck to you!

Hello and thank you for your question. I would recommend you going in and filling the breast implants yourself at your consultation. Saline has more push back and therefore will feel firmer than a silicone based implant. MRIs after your implants can be very helpful if you are worried about a possible rupture, regardless of the implant you choose. Good luck to you.

Hello and thank you for you questions. Obviously you have down 3D imaging which is helpful. 300-350cc appears to be a natural look from what you posted, but ultimately it is your decision. Regarding the post care, we recommend a light support at night for all our patients. Because of gravity and the nature of the HP implants, it will naturally appear to be in a tear drop shape, wearing a light support at night will simply keep you from stretching you pocket when moving around on your chest at night. Good luck to you on your upcoming surgery.

Hello and thank you for your question. Most surgeons keep a stock of all different sizes and profiles of implants. It is best that you call your surgeon's office to verify that that is what they do as well. Typically if you are in between sizes, the surgeon will pick what looks best during the procedure. Good luck to you!

Hello and congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Above the muscle placement would help with the shape of your breast if you are choosing not do a full lift. You may also consider a circle mastopexy as the scarring with that is very discrete given that the areola is darker in pigmentation than the breast skin therefore in many cases is hard to see. I would recommend setting up a consultation for measurement of the base of you breast in order to determine what size the diameter of implant is appropriate for you. While 400cc may be what you are thinking the base of your breast may or may not be able to support that. Good luck to you!

Hello and thank you for your question. It is best for the diameter of an implant not to exceed the base of you current breast. This allows for a more natural look. There for if the base of your breast is 12.5cm you would want to look at implant sizes that are 12.5cm or smaller in diameter. Ultimately you would need to consult with your plastic surgeon about what size would best suit your stature at your consultation. Good luck to you!

Dr. Breazeale is wonderful! One of the best physicians I’ve ever met. He is so kind and professional. I had a breast augmentation and went from a B to a D/DD. Everything healed lovely and looks very natural. One of the best decisions I’ve made and I highly recommend Dr. Breazeale and his staff. Thank you, Lyndsey

Dr. B is the Best!

Dr. B is the best! He did my breast augmentation almost 10 years ago and they still look amazing. I refer everyone to him. Not only is his work the best, he’s one of the most easy doctors to talk to about what you’re aiming to achieve.

Dr. Breazeale is amazing!!!

I am 5 days post-op and, wow, I am so impressed with how great of a job Dr. Breazeale did! I went with 270cc ultra high profile, round smooth Mentor implants. I had very minimal pain (I only had to take pain medicine the day of surgery and the day after). I am so so happy with the results and Dr. Breazeale did such an incredible job choosing the size. I was slightly worried about size because I am very small (5'2" and 115lbs), but Dr. Breazeale choose the perfect size for me. They look so natural!! Look no further, go to Dr. Breazeale!! You will not regret it.

Is a perfectionist! So disappointed I can't see him again

I dated my date of surgery as 2017 because this site would not allow me to put a date before then. However I think people need to know just how long this man has been so talented and the change he made in my life. The rest is gospel. I had a mastectomy in 2003. Dr. Breazeale did my reconstruction with under the muscle implants. He did a superb job. I was so proud of what I looked like. SO PROUD! I looked better after the mastectomy than I did before it! Could not sing higher praises about this mans surgical skills. He is the best at reconstruction in our area. I think it was 2006 my “ pocket” fell and my breast on the right was grossly uneven. This is in no way a reflection of Dr. Breazeales surgical ability...I probably caused this by being too rough on myself. Anyway, i had to go to another surgeon to fix this as Dr. Breazeale quit taking insurance and went to a cash basis only. I was so so so so so disappointed at the second surgeons repair of this...I went from being so proud of the way I looked to horrified and ashamed of my mastectomy results. I am ashamed of breasts now. I’m single and would love to have a relationship but I can’t. I refuse to take my clothes and let someone see this mess on my chest. My old implants Dr. Breazeale put in which were PERFECT were removed and larger ones put in. The second surgeon said he had to put bigger ones in so I would be even. I look HORRIBLE. They are entirely too big for my frame and hurt my neck. Two weeks ago I fell and I think I have pulled a muscle surrounding the right breast or the implant has ruptured because I’m having severe pain. I’m having to wrap my chest to control pain. It will just have to heal without medical attention because I cannot afford cash for Dr. Breazeale and I refuse to let any other physician touch me after the last one ruined Dr. Breazeales beautiful work. This man is the best in this area for what he does! Never question using him. My surgery by Dr. Breazeale was in 2002...he was very talented and a perfectionist in 2002. He has had 17 years of experience since the perfect surgery he did on me...I can only imagine how talented he is now! Thank you Dr. Breazeale for giving me back my self esteem even though it was only for a short three years. I will never forget what it felt like to be proud of what I looked like.

Best Decision Ever!

I cannot put into words how happy I am with my results and how amazing my experience with the Breazeale clinic was! His staff in office at the Breazeale Clinic and at the outpatient surgery center are top notch. So friendly, knowledgeable, and caring! Dr. Breazeale answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable from the start. Post surgery he even asked me about my mom after only meeting her briefly right before surgery! I would never use anyone else. And once again, my results are AMAZING! Why did I wait so long to do it in the first place??

Body Lift

Exceptional results from thighs to eyes

After losing nearly 90 lbs., I had a lot of loose skin to contend with. No amount of exercise can reduce loose skin, surgery was my only option. Once the decision was made, I made appointments with several local plastic surgeon's. Dr. Breazeale was the third that I met with and I knew within minutes that he was my surgeon; I cancelled the remaining appointments. He was excited for my weight loss and excited for the opportunity to sculpt my body. The confidence and assuredness that he had in his skill and the enthusiasm he had for the opportunity to be the surgeon behind a true complete makeover won me over, and he delivered all I'd hoped for. Over the course of 6 months and two outpatient surgical appointments, I had a lower body lift, thigh lift, breast lift and augmentation, upper and lower eye lifts, and a lower face lift. Yes, that's a lot, but there is no other surgeon that I would trust. The results of every procedure turned out better than I could have imagined. The time off work was minimal, and the scars are now barely visible. My surgeries were over 12 years ago and I still have a close relationship with Dr. Breazeale and his office staff. If you are considering any type of cosmetic surgery, I strongly recommend that you meet with Dr. Breazeale before making your surgeon decision. He's a perfectionist.
