I wish to minimize the size of my nosetrils because I believe they are to wide. I would also want to make the nose more narrow and pointed. I am afraid of goretex implant, I've read that is has a high risk of infections. Is the alarplasty and tip plasty the righ procedure for me ? Is it any risk for breathing or other health problems with this proceduce? If yes, how much does the proceduce cost in the US and UK, how long time does the procedure take?
Answer: Wide nose... From the photos, you are a good candidate to make your nose more narrow. I don't know if it can ever be pointed because your skin is a bit thick, but a nice, natural improvement should be able to be made. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation. The price usually varies between $5000 and $10000.

Answer: Tip plasty and alar plasty You are good candidate for alar plasty as you have wide nostrils with a flare. The tip is bulbous and tip plasty will reduce it and make it more well defined. You do not need a Gore-Tex implant. The cost varies between different geographical locations. A surgeons fee can be between $5000-$10,000.RegardsDr. J

Answer: Nose hello. I think an alar resection will help you for the width at the bottom of the nose and tip plastic would help make the tip less bulbous and round. You would have good results with these procedures. I personally don't think you need to have any implant placed. Good luck

Answer: Your nose Hello and thanks. For facial harmony and improved nasal aesthetics you need a rib cartilage graft to your bridge, nasal tip cartilage reduction, cartilage grafts, and alar base reduction. Spreader grafts would be used to maintain latency of your airway. Cost range is $7500-$15000. Good luck Best, #drburnett #realself100

Answer: Say no to Goretex in the nose You are right to not want a goretex implant. These carry a host of problems. I would also avoid silicone, Medpor or porous polyethylene implants for similar reasons. The terms "alarplasty" and "tip plasty" are parts of a rhinoplasty or a nose job. I think by those terms, you are referring to narrowing the width of the base of your nose and refining the tip, respectively. These are reasonable goals in your particular case...to a limit. "Ethnic rhinoplasty" is a more recent term used to describe rhinoplasties that are done to more closely approximate someone's original ethnicity. For example, it would not be wise to try and create a Scandinavian type nose for a patient of African descent. Skin properties also bear influence on final results. If you have thick skin, as with Middle Eastern or African patients, many of the tip refinements may not be realized because they may mask the underlying framework. Properly performed, there should not be any issues with breathing. In fact, it should improve in many cases. Typical costs for a primary rhinoplasty (first time) in Beverly Hills can range from $7000-$12,000. Beware of the 2 hour rhinoplasty. I personally do not know how that can be performed with accuracy or with long-lasting results.
