For 30 years, Dr. Younger has been leading the cosmetic industry in Vancouver, B.C., as a trusted surgeon, clinical professor at the University of British Columbia, and a board examiner at the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Superb! Dr. RITCHIE is highly skilled. Funny, relaxed. I healed well and results are wonderful. He may cost more but he is the one who has trained many local plastic surgeons. And he won't let you have anything you don't need!
Dr. Younger genuinely listened to my concerns and offered solutions. He was unbelievably knowledgeable. He performed surgery on my area of concern, and the results have far exceeded my expectation. You can't even tell! This brilliant surgeon has excellent skills as well as a great personality. I highly recommend him.
I had a Rhinoplasty with doctor Richie younger around 7 month ago and I had no issues with the recovery, his staff was always welcoming when I came in for checkups and doctor younger always takes his time to listen to any concerns I have about my Rhinoplasty plus he is really funny! Haha I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking into getting a Rhinoplasty done
I had a septoplasty with Dr. Younger 3 weeks ago and I could not recommend him enough. I met with him a couple times to go over the before and after images because I was nervous but he made me feel so comfortable and explained everything to me in detail. He was the first and only surgeon I met with because I knew he would do the best. He was so confident and I instilled a lot of trust in him. He did not disappoint!!! I had a dorsal hump and my nose over projected and he fixed everything I wanted. I thought when my cast got taken off I'd be so swollen, but it was so much less than I thought and I LOVED it. I was in awe, and still am. If you are thinking of getting a rhinoplasty, go to him!! (also, he is so funny lol)
Amazing experience! This is long but hopefully a useful read. In the consultation, I was so nervous. I was worried I'd get pressured into surgery or he'd find several things wrong with my nose. I had a fairly large dorsal hump and breathing issues. The cost at this clinic was a bit lower than others I had inquired about and I was concerned it might be reflection on the results. The clinic staff was super friendly. Dr. Younger was all smiles, very funny and very direct with me. He said he would objectively look at my face as a whole and give recommendations but no pressure in the slightest. He confirmed my deviated septum, took photos and showed me on his computer what my nose could look like. He was very honest with me throughout, he said he'd be very happy to just do the deviated septum which is covered by MSP and there's no pressure to get the hump reduced if I don't feel comfortable. However, it's a very common procedure, my skin was quite thin and he was confident he could get very close if not exactly to the edited photo on his computer (he was right!). He reassured me that I'm a beautiful girl either way and it's 100% my decision. When I went to pay for my surgery to book, I told one of the clinic staff that I was nervous and she told me she just got the same surgery done, and to get excited about the results. Surgery day, I was shaking from nerves. He came into the room and was so friendly, so calm and seemed excited for me. The surgery went really well and the folks at the clinic treated me like royalty. The anesthesiologist was incredibly nice, I wish I knew his name. I was nervous and he held my hand, he told me he has daughters around my age and he will take care of me like I was one of his own. The next day, I felt oddly fine. I walked around my house and was in a great mood, only a bit uncomfortable. I realized I was probably still a bit high! The next three days after that, I was swollen but mostly uncomfortable and maybe slightly sore, thankfully. He called my house, spoke to my mom first and had a chat and laugh with her. He then spoke to me and was happy to hear I was doing well, gave me some advice and booked an appointment to get my cast off. He seemed just as excited as I was to take my cast off. When my cast first came off (Wednesday surgery, cast off following Tuesday), I was expecting to be unhappy as many people are due to swelling that can apparently last months. Even with a bit of swelling (and slight bruising under one eye), the dorsal hump was gone completely. I was SHOCKED. I told him that even if the swelling never went away, I'd still be SO happy, it looked a million times better. He told me it definitely will go down and I'll notice changes in the next few months and he was right. I went back for my 6 week check up, 2.5 months later since I'd forgotten to book it. The clinic called and reminded me, luckily. I thought the swelling was completely gone, but he told me there was a bit of build up on the tip of my nose (I hadn't even noticed). I'm to come back in 4 months, if it's not gone, he'll inject with a steroid to reduce it, which is very normal. Again, I'm so happy regardless. I joked that I want more surgery done and asked what else he'd do. He told me he wouldn't do any other surgeries on my face, that I look great as I am and to leave well enough alone haha. Clearly, he's not looking for my money and he seems very genuine. I never realized how much I thought about my profile around other people. I used to subconsciously position my face a certain way when speaking to others, all that is gone. My mind is a lot clearer when it comes to my image. Thank you Dr. Younger and the team! * Disclaimer, I saw results right away and from my understanding, this is highly dependent on your skin type and the specific adjustments on your nose. For others, it can take many months for the swelling to go down, even a year, so don't expect the same quick results and be patient!
I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Younger and his staff. He exceeded my expectations. He has a good sense of humour and made me feel very comfortable. I found him to be quite modest and there are less bells and whistles than at other offices in the area. Dr. Younger has the experience and talent although I found him quite modest. Thank you so much Dr. Younger.
I got referred to Dr. Kibblewhite from an ENT for my deviated septum and rhinoplasty (septorhinoplasty). In short the consultation wasn’t good and I wanted a second opinion and was referred to Dr. Younger. The consultation went great he told me everything I needed to know, answered all my questions and even did computer imaging to show me how my nose would look. The septoplasty part was covered by MSP and I had to pay for the rhinoplasty part (alignment of my nose and dorsal hump removal) out of pocket. Im writing this 5 days post op and I cant make this up he made my nose perfect, exactly how it was in the computer imaging in our consultation. I removed the splint 4 days after surgery from him and my nose looks perfect already and he said its still really swollen so it’ll only get better and smaller! In short, go with Dr. Younger you won’t be disappointed, check out his reviews and take a look at his website and view his extensive credentials. I did extensive research before choosing which surgeon to go with and doctor Younger was the clear winner. Some say he has an inappropriate sense of humour which I personally think is hilarious as it takes your anxiety away before surgery and puts you at ease but some people care more about his jokes then the surgery! I have one of the thickest skins out of all the patients he worked with, and he managed to pull it off somehow with minimal swelling. I have not had a chance to rinse my nose yet so its still filled with blood etc however I can already breathe 10x better then before, I cant imagine how it will feel once I clear my nose out. I'm only 5 days post op and I look better then I did before the surgery, the only thing is I have slight yellow bruising under one of my eyes. Dr. Younger is the goat!!!
Dr. Youngers’ genius in action once again. He has created a complete metamorphorsis out of me recently and in the past with his incredible talents. My previous treatments were Rhinoplasty, Face and Neck Lift and numerous lip augmentations resembling the B. Bardot look. My face is now Beautifully Sculptured. Truly unbeatable surgeon in Canada. Dr. Youngers’ presence is so comforting that any pains mysteriously seem to vanish.
I am not even two weeks out from surgery and my eyes look absolutely amazing. I didn't have any pain at all and I think my eyes look better than they ever have. I had a few consultations and did some research before choosing a doctor and I am really glad I chose Dr. Younger. Thank you so much :)
Fantastic, a delightful session. Transformation from thin, scissor sharp lips into magnificent Traffic Stoppers. Dr. Younger has the unique talent for glamour and elegance. People have flagged me down on the street, complimenting on my look alike Marilyn Monroe pout. I give all the honor, praise and glory to the fabulous Dr. Younger, the incredible genius, who has re- created me.
Congratulations on your weight loss - tough job to shed pounds or kilo's but you have managed to succeed bigtime! Best for you to get down to what you consider to be your ideal weight-then go for a consultation by a Facial Plastic Surgeon who has vast experience in dealing with a potential aging or a saggy face following weight reduction. Undergoing what I call a major weight loss makes it very difficult to assess with 2 dimensional photographs, whereas a hands on consultation to determine the amount of gravitational sagging can readily determine whether or not you might be a condidate for a facial tightening procedure. You are looking stylish at 75 kgm !! Kudos to you !!
Seek out a Facial Plastic or oculoplastic Surgeon who will be able to carefully examine your eyes- to determine whether excess skin, protruding fat- or ptosis may be contributing to your "small eyes" appearance. If any or all three of the above seems to be going on with your eyes- there is a good chance that the incredibly talented surgeon that you select- may be able to give you the larger eyes of your dreams! Good luck to you !
Seek out a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon who performs a high volume of rhinoplasty procedures and you will find that your concerns can be easily addressed. Computer imaging can show you how the nostril diameters can be better equalized, and at the same time your Italian nose can be volume reduced so it is better balanced to the rest of youer face. A win/win I dare say ! Good luck to you in your quest for better symmetry and a more balanced nose!
Two options are available. Either go back to your Board certified Facial Plastic or Oculoplastic surgeon, or seek out a new surgeon with similar credentials-and question whether any further improvement can be achieved with further eyelid surgery. As we cannot see your eyes before they were operated on, it is difficult to tell how successful your surgery may have been. In this photo it is difficult to see and assess any scarring that your Botox provider may have seen, but truth be known-whoever did your eyelid surgery has achieved reasonable symmetry in both of your upper eyelids. A thorough assessment of your eyelids can readily determine if you might gain anything from further revisional eyelid surgery, so if you have concerns-take the plunge and see an expert. Good luck to you !
Assuming that your implant was placed by a Board Certified Facial Plastic surgeon with a great surgical volume of facial contouring implants- I would not be overly concerned. Subtle chin implant irregularity is common in the first year, and minor bilateral asymmetry is also common - primarily due to the fact that right and left jaws are frequently slightly different. Some surgeons are of the opinion that such early irregularities and asymmetries can be minimized if your chin and cheek implants are screwed into place, rather than installed in a confined pocket, and I am in that camp that screws the implants into place with 2 Titanium screws. In 35 years I have never had any implant asymmetry issues, and if you discuss this with your initial surgeon, and these subtle issues are driving you crazy - if in doubt - screw it into place ! Good luck to you with the wandering chin....
