Answer: Your Treatment Options I understand your concerns about the results following your recent chin liposuction and J-Plasma procedure. At 36 years old, having undergone a similar procedure in 2016, it’s natural to seek clarity on the current outcome and potential next steps. Understanding Your Current Condition After liposuction, especially a secondary procedure, the skin’s ability to retract can be compromised due to factors like reduced elasticity and the presence of scar tissue from previous surgeries. J-Plasma (Renuvion) is designed to enhance skin tightening by delivering controlled thermal energy beneath the skin, promoting collagen production and contraction. However, its effectiveness can vary based on individual factors, including skin quality and the extent of previous procedures. The description provided by your surgeon suggests that the remaining irregularities are due to residual skin laxity and scar tissue formation. Scar tissue can create firmness or unevenness, while loose skin may not conform to the newly contoured underlying structures. Considering a Facelift A facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure aimed at addressing significant skin laxity and repositioning underlying tissues to achieve a more youthful contour. In cases where non-surgical methods like J-Plasma have not provided the desired skin tightening, a facelift may be recommended to remove excess skin and improve overall facial harmony. Next Steps It’s essential to have an open and detailed discussion with your surgeon about your concerns and aesthetic goals. Consider seeking a second opinion from another surgeon as well. They can assess your specific situation, evaluate the extent of scar tissue and skin laxity, and recommend the most appropriate course of action to achieve your desired outcome. You can also evaluate combining endoscopic mid-face lift and neck lift. Your satisfaction and confidence in your appearance are paramount. Exploring all available options with qualified professionals will help ensure you make an informed decision that aligns with your expectations.

Answer: Skin laxity Thank you for posting your question here !My answer will be based on the limited information and pictures provided, for a more detailed and personalized plan please consult with your plastic surgeon in person . you are only a few months out from your surgery, I would give it a little more time ( around 6 months) before jumping into another surgery. J plasma and other energy based skin tightening devices are pretty effective for mild to moderate skin laxity , and liposuction only addresses the fat above the platysma and the more liposuction you do the higher the chances are for having skin redundancy/laxity as some of the skin might not contract and you are taking away some of the support underneath it (the fat) and at that point a surgical neck lift would probably be the answer , this can also address sub-platysmal fat, platysmal banding and better contour the neck.I hope this helps, best of luck!
