How long should I wait after chin lipo before using my NuFace micro current device? Is there even any benefit? Thanks.
Answer: Safe Skin Tightening Options for Individuals on Photosensitive Medications with Metal Implants After undergoing chin liposuction, it's important to allow adequate time for healing before using any at-home devices like a handheld microcurrent device. Here are some considerations: Healing Time: Typically, it's advisable to wait at least 4 to 6 weeks post-surgery before using microcurrent devices. However, the exact timing can vary depending on your individual healing process and your surgeon's specific recommendations. Consult Your Surgeon: Always consult with your plastic surgeon before starting any new treatments post-surgery. They can provide personalized advice based on your recovery progress. They may be beneficial in maintaining results post-liposuction, but their effectiveness can vary. Signs to Watch: Ensure all swelling and bruising have significantly subsided and that any incisions have healed completely before using the device. Following your surgeon's guidance will ensure safe and optimal results from both your surgery and any subsequent treatments.

Answer: I do not believe that microcurrent devices have any benefit. If you are planning on having neck liposuction surgery, I would defer this answer to your surgeon. You would likely have a supportive strap under your chin for 7 days. I'm not sure what you would be looking to achieve with a microcurrent device. Thank you for this question! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Dan surgical treatments after Liposuction Personally, I don’t think NuFace micro current device It’s going to do anything of value for you. If your liposuction was done correctly, you shouldn’t need any other treatment. I recommend you follow up with the surgeon who did your procedure and ask them any questions you may have. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
