Hump on bridge after rhinoplasty, is it permanent? Seems to go down when I massage it somewhat.

You are describing normal postop swelling.  The real hump would not go away with pressure.  Continue to massage nasal dorsum to allow swelling to come down.  It will take up to a year.

You are early after rhinoplasty.  Such artifacts are common soon after surgery because of swelling. It takes one year and more to get final result from rhinoplasty surgery.

Thanks for your question. In my opinion you are still very early in the process so its difficult to make any determinations about what is going to improve and what will not. The fact that you can get the bump to go away at all is a very good sign. Often very early the skin has "memory" and bumps may appear as they were before surgery for a short time. It sounds like this may be the case, try to be patient and obviously stay in touch with your surgeon. Sounds like you're  on the way to a fantastic result. Hope this helps. 

The nose will swell off and on after a rhinoplasty.  It takes about a year to settle down into its final shape.  Just be patient and follow up with your surgeon.
