I have a bony bump midway down my nose. I'm now 2 weeks post op but noticed this after cast removal. The strange thing: when I massage this bump enough, and take a picture immediately, the shape is pleasant. A few secs/mins later the bump resurfaces & if I haven't touched it all evening, the bump looks really prominent by the end of the night. My surgeon took a post op pic in theatre & there's no bump in the photograph. I had hump removal, cartilage removal, tip refinement & turbinate reduction.
