Nonsurgical ways to fix extremely noticeable nasolabial folds? (photos)

Hi,There are a couple of non-surgical treatments for the nasolabial folds. The longer lasting approach  is to use dissolvable sutures (Silhouette InstaLift)  to resuspend the tissues above the fold that are contributing to the heavy and deep lines. The best non surgical way to treat no folds is to vuluminize the cheek area with fillers and if necessary which in your case seems so, use deep dermal fillers like Radiesse to treat the NLF . 

I think the most effective method is use dermal fillers to help with the nasolabial folds.  I would use a combination technique combining Radiesse with an HA filler ie Restylane/Juvederm.  The Radiesse is a thicker filler that provide extra help for the deep volume loss and the HA filler which is layered on top to provide some softness to the overall look.  I would strongly recommend that you do dermal fillers in the cheeks to help lift the nasolabial folds.  Radiesse does a nice job at this and is the most cost effective product for this.  Good luck!

Thanks for the question.  I utilize two different fillers with different properties.  The first filler is injected directly beneath the fold using a cannula to reduce bruising and swelling.  The other is to use a volumizing filler into the cheek  and midface to lift the fold.  Both typically are very successful in reducing the folds.

The quickest way to reduce the appearance of deep nasolabial folds is with the injection of fillers. This will provide an immediate improvement in volume which can last 6 months to a year depending on the filler used. Make sure you see an experienced physician injector for an in-person consultation and evaluation. Best wishes.

The best way to address prominent nasolabial folds is with a filler.  In my practice, a firmer filler such as Radiesse (calcium hydroyxylapatite) is the preferred method, with results lasting about 1 year. 

A combination approach will give the most improvement. I recommend fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. Seek out a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist who has vast experience managing the aging face and you will find your answer.  Discuss with your chosen specialist what you want to achieve, and I am quite sure that some form of volume filler will be your ticket to facial rejuvenation, where those deep creases could be readily filled and softened with a spectacular outcome.  Good luck to you !!
