Initially being an A cup wanting a natural full C cup. My PS and I were tossing up between 280 and 330cc and decided on 280cc just before the surgery. My PS assured me I would be a C cup. I have measured my breasts however they are measuring as 83cm being a B cup. I’m really stressed & this is playing on my mind a lot... thoughts?? I hate the fact that I think we chose the wrong size and I won’t achieve the look I was after...

Answer: Breasts too small after Breast Augmentation Hi there. Thanks for posting your questions. Size after a breast augmentation is a very subjective matter. At the end of the day, you have to be happy with the result. Having said that, it is only 3 weeks post surgery. I would give it more time for your tissue to heal and soften. Keep in touch with your plastic surgeon in follow-up, and discuss any concerns that you may have with the result. All the very best. Dr Ray Goh

Answer: Post BBA Size Concerns Hello,Thank you for your question. Worrying about implant size choice is common for BA patients. Sometimes people fear they have gone too small right after surgery but the feeling does fade if they chose based on their goals and measurements beforehand. Once you have healed and enough time has passed, you could consider secondary surgery to select a larger size, but I recommend that you wait at least 6 months to appreciate your settled results. All the best

Answer: Size Thank you for your question. Implant size is a concern for many patients. Remember that cup sizes do vary from one bra manufacturer to another. My strong advice is to wait a full 4-6 months before considering your final result and if in fact, you are unhappy with the size, you could consider an implant exchange. Best of luck.

Answer: Breast implants need to drop and fluff It is the size "look' that is more important than the actual cup size. If you have a small frame, implants will have a bigger 'look' on you than it would on someone with a big frame or (rib cage). Cup size really depends on how tight you wear your bra and where you shop. Also at three weeks you are about 15 percent settled, shaped, softened, dropped and fluffed. "Drop and fluff" refers to the fact that as the skin stretches and the muscles relax, the implants move down and out slowly – about 1 percent a day. It’ll be about six weeks before they even begin to settle down, but they’ll be close to 80 percent settled at three months. Watching their progress is like watching your hair grow. You don’t see a difference in your hair growth daily, but all of a sudden you need a haircut. Be patient after surgery. Give yourself a few months before making a judgment about your surgical results. You won't know the outcome until then. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
