I have tear trough deformity from my father's side. My eyes have always been like this, I'm 24, but I finally have enough money to actually DO something. What are your suggestions? I'm thinking about filers but would like to be informed before going in to a consultation.

Answer: Treatment of Tired Under Eyes, Loss of Volume Your tear trough area can be improved with expertly placed fillers along with skin lightening creams, chemical peels, and lasers to treat the dark pigmentation in the skin. Make sure you find an experienced physician injector for an in-person consultation and evaluation. Best wishes.

Answer: Improving Under Eye -- Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk), Fraxel, Microneedling/PRP A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer
