Question

I have tear trough deformity from my father's side. My eyes have always been like this, I'm 24, but I finally have enough money to actually DO something. What are your suggestions? I'm thinking about filers but would like to be informed before going in to a consultation.

I do think you can make a nice improvement with careful placement of dermal fillers.  This will help fill in the hollows of your lower cheek affording a more youthful appearance.  This can be done with either Volbella or Vollure based on the amount of correction requested.  Hope this helps.

thank you for your question.  Although your young, you do have hereditary tear trough changes.  It is difficult to say from the photos whether you may benefit from a bit of filler in the midfacial region as well.  I strongly suggest seeing someone who is highly experienced in treating this area with fillers.  I do feel that injectable fillers are your best first option.  Best of luck.

Your tear trough area can be improved with expertly placed fillers along with skin lightening creams, chemical peels, and lasers to treat the dark pigmentation in the skin. Make sure you find an experienced physician injector for an in-person consultation and evaluation. Best wishes.

A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. Thank you for your question and photos.  There are a few things that can be done for this area.
Start with clinical      skincare for the eyes with potent actives to increase the collagen      formation of the skin and improve the texture a ton and prevent dark      circles.
  Then have a filler      treatment for precise correction of your hereditary lower lid hollowness 
 
Filler injection in this area requires a highly skilled injector.  If not injected properly, a vascular accident in this area can cause permanent irreversible blindness.  I am not telling you this to scare you but to make sure that you are aware of this risk and bring forth the importance of choosing a provider based on her competence in master level injections not based on the cheapest price.

Hi. A filler in the tear trough would be a great option for you. In our practice we recommend the use of Volbella in the tear trough as this is a fine smooth filler meant for thin skinned areas such as the delicate skin under the eyes. This is a long lasting product and for a typical patient the filler will last around 9 months. In addition to the Volbella underneath the eyes a mid face filler such as Voluma would compliment the area providing a more awake and lifted look. Best of luck with your treatments!

Many people are born with tear trough deformity, and others develop it with age or weight loss. A tear trough filler is an excellent option for you. The area is more challenging than other areas - e.g. more swelling and bruising risk, and more tendency for needing adjustments. More importantly, find a highly trained and experienced physician such as a dermatologist to optimize your results and safety.

While an in-person examination is always best, judging from your pictures I do believe you would be a good candidate for filler to correct your deformity.  There are several fillers that work very well in this area.  The important thing is for you to be treated by a physician who specializes in filler injections.  Filling this area is considered an advanced technique and requires somebody with a lot of experience and a large amount of skill.

You have two issues. One is the coloration of the lower lid skin which fillers won't help and one is the  indentation which makes a shadow .which fillers will help. If you use a filler like restylane or belotero you can remove them if you don't like the result.
