Will two syringes of Volbella compare to one syringe of Juvederm? (Photos)

Question

What I have read, is that volbella smoothes out fine lines around the lips and on the surface. It is a sister product of volbella & tends to last longer, however Is a more thinned out version. Will 2 syringes of volbella, give me the volume tat I got from juvederm

2 syringes of Volbella will not compare to 1 syringe of Juviderm XC or Juviderm Ultra Plus. Volbella is a very soft ,buttery filler that comes in a 0.5cc size syringe.  The enhancement wt Volbella is very small compare to The Ultra or Ultra Pus therefore if you want volume Volbella is not the filler of choice.

If you’re looking for the dramatic volume that you got with Juvederm, Volbella is not the right filler for you. Volbella has a thin, honey-like consistency that’s very soft and subtle. It is excellent for creating slight volume that looks and feels very natural. Even two syringes won’t create significantly larger lips. Try Volbella if you’re looking to add a more subtle and natural difference to your normal lip shape and volume. Stick with Juvederm if you like larger lips. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will help you decide.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  2 syringes of Volbella will only match the total amount of filler placed into the lips - 1cc.  Beyond that the expected results are dramatically different.  2 syringes of Volbella will offer a very modest/subtle increase in lip volume while other Juvederm products will yield much more volume and lip structure/shape.  Based on your pictures you would better be served with Juvederm Ultra Plus or Juvederm Vollure.  See an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to discuss what would work best for you.

2 syringes of volbella is 1 cc but is not exactly equal to 1 syringe of Juvederm Ultra. 
Juvederm Volbella is the newest FDA approved filler for lip lines.  It does a great job at softening lip lines without the bulky or puffy appearance.  But Juvederm Ultra or Juvederm Vollure are used to add lip volume.  You have beautiful lips so volbella may be an excellent start for you.

Good question. Volbella is for fine tuning and very subtle enhancement even when using two syringes. If you are looking for more fullness and volume, Juvederm will be the more appropriate option.

volbella and juvederm are different fillers.  volbella gives subtle volume and is great for fine lines and wrinkles.  juvederm gives much more volume.  they are not really comparable, they are different.  best to get a good honest opinion from a great board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon about which would be the best for you.

After seeing your picture, I think you have a petite face and I don't think too much volume would look great on you. With either fillers in the right injector you can get good result. But as far as volume juvederm has bigger molecules compare to Volbella. Face to face examination would be good idea.
