Thank you for sharing your question. Volbella affords only a minor increase in lip volume and is better at creating definition or filling in lip lines. Volift/Vollure achieves a much larger increase in the size of the lips and is more commonly used for patients. Hope this helps.
Vollure is a thicker filler while Volbella is softer and provides long-lasting results. Both can be used lip augmentation. Nova threads also be can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to go over your desired results. Best, Dr. Emer
Volbella is one of my favorite hyaluronic-acid based fillers for the lips because it creates a very natural looking and feeling augmentation, owing to its thin and soft consistency. It can also last for up to 18 months. Vollure (Volift) creates a more dramatic plumping of the lips, which some patients prefer. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will help you decide which hyaluronic acid filler best suits your needs.
When it comes to these 2 Allergan Vycross fillers for lip augmentation, Volift, or Vollure as we have it here in the states, is a little more robust for lip augmentation. It works really well for lips and has minimal swelling due to its low hyaluronic acid concentration. Volbella is almost like an injectable "lip gloss" and is not my favorite choice for lip augmentation because it doesn't give much augmentation, more smoothing. I like Volbella a lot more to treat the fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth. It is one of the best fillers for that area.
Vobella is a lovely choice for soft natural restoration of lip volume loss and fine lines within the lips themselves. Some women love the bounce of full generous lips accompanied by more projection. Volift is a good choice for these patients. Both give great results but it depends what you are looking for. Volift may last a little longer in the lip.
Hello, Volbella is softer and Vollure is too thick in my professional opinion for lips. There is a product Juvederm Ultra XC and Juvederm Ultra Plus SX that are a little softer than Vollure and they do a better job creating structure without being too heavy. Vollure lips look great in pictures not in person, personal opinion, so in my practice I avoid them in lips. That said, I use more Vollure than anything else in my practice, which speaks about the great quality of the product on other parts of the face.Thank you, Dr Violetta Mailyan
Thank you for your question. There are many great products now for lip lines. Juvederm Volbella is the newest FDA approved filler for lip lines. It does a great job at softening lip lines without the bulky or puffy appearance with a one year longevity. For restoring lip volume Juvederm Vollure ( Volift) would be a good choice. Each patient requires different techniques, depending if we are treating lip lines, volume loss or both. Please consult your local board certified facial plastic surgeon for more information and a comprehensive consultation
Thank you for your question and your pictures. It would be important to know the products as hyalurodinase will likely not work on a non-hyaluronic acid products (yet sometimes it helps).Volbella can trigger a granuloma reaction (chronic inflammation) with hardness, tenderness and swelling. It ...
If you’re looking for the dramatic volume that you got with Juvederm, Volbella is not the right filler for you. Volbella has a thin, honey-like consistency that’s very soft and subtle. It is excellent for creating slight volume that looks and feels very natural. Even two syringes won’t creat...
I would wait a whole two weeks for the lips to settle, since there is a bruise it may be altering the shape from the excess inflammation and fluid accumulation. if it is still present at two weeks you can certainly go back to your injector and have hylauronidase injected to minimize the bump
You don’t mention how long ago you received Volbella to fill in your tear troughs. If it was just a couple of weeks ago, you may still be swollen and are not yet seeing your results. If it’s been longer than that and you are still looking overfilled, the duration of Volbella depends in part on ...
The hyaluronic-acid based dermal filler Volbella would be a great choice to help you feel better about your lips. It can add volume and shape to smooth out the irregularities that are bothering you. It has a very thin consistency, so the look is quite natural. It can also be used to fill in the...
Hi and thank you for your question! Any swelling following filler should be fully resolved within 2 weeks and at that time point, it is possible to do an accurate assessment on the results. Whenever there is a concern with lack of results following an injection, the best approach is to do a ...
