Pricing depends on the surgeon and the city in which they’re located. In Toronto, where my practice is located, breast augmentation ranges from $7000 to $9500. The lower end is often for saline implants, while the higher end is for silicone. Generally, the size of the implant does not affect the price.
I appreciate your question. Cost varies by geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length of procedure etc. I would recommend that you see a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery and who is also a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgery. You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotes prior to scheduling consultations. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery. Best of luck! The total cost of surgerywill depend upon the type of anesthesia, skill found and experience of thesurgeon. There’ll be regional differences. Approximate costs can be found onrealself.com, and other websites such as the American Society of PlasticSurgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.Payment plans can beoffered through Care Credit, local banks, credit cards, and other companiessuch as Prosper. Some plans have 12-18months interest free.
Thank you for your question. There are many factors that go into pricing for an augmentation which include:-Surgeon, facility and anesthesia fees-implant cost i.e. round vs. shaped, silicone vs. saline-lift vs.no liftI recommend seeing several board certified plastic surgeons, and get quotes. Keep in mind, cheaper is not always the best option. It is much more costly to go back and try fix something, then it is to do it right the first time.
The price of breast augmentation surgery depends on several factors. These include: Where in the country you are locatedType of implant chosenThe facility at which your surgery is being performedHow long her surgery is going to take. This is typically longer if there is a lift being performed at the same time or if there are anatomic challenges.Surgeon experienceCertainly, price is an important factor to consider. However, remember, this is your body and is still a surgical procedure. Make sure that the surgeon you choose is experienced, Board Certified in Plastic Surgery, and that you feel comfortable that you can communicate with them and their staff. This will be especially important during your recovery and going forward.Good luck on your journey.
The final price of a breast aug procedure involves many different things. There is the surgeon's fee to perform the procedure. This involves the consultations, the skilled and safe performance of the procedure, and all of the postoperative visits involved. There is the anesthesia fee which involves 1-1.5 hours of the safe and skilled administration of anesthesia. There is the hospital facility fee/surgery center fee which involves the skilled preoperative nurses, the skilled intraoperative nurses and assistants, and skilled postoperative nurses as well as all of the supplies involved such as bandages, sutures, etc. There is the overnight fee in the hospital which includes the skilled nurses, techs, etc. Many surgeons would recommend that if a ____ is performed, that it is safest to be monitored overnight in the hospital. There is also the price of the implants. All of these things vary by geographic location, so your best bet is to schedule a few consultations with board-certified plastic surgeons in your area.Best of luck!Dr. SubbioBoard-Certified Plastic SurgeonNewtown Square/Philadelphia, PA
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. The size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breastsize/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion withequal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure youspecifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who havehad this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate theirresults. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you arecomfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualifiedboard-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Thank you for your question. It is worth having multiple consultations to evaluate cost variation among surgeons in your area. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon based upon experience and the results he or she can deliver, not just on cost alone. Many practices offer financing plans to lessen the upfront cost. I suggest waiting at least 6 months after you have completed breast feeding your children before undergoing augmentation surgery. Hope this helps and good luck with your procedure.
Thank you for your question. Remember, it is best to be seen in person by a double-board-certified plastic surgeon for precise diagnosis and treatment.
Each surgeon may charge a fee that is different. You should find a good surgeon in you area and then figure out then go over the price. Best of luck.
Should be tolerated well but you must be protective of them and not participate in activities that could lead to problems like swinging from chandeliers, jumping in a pool (heated), or anything vigorous or bouncy as you could create a problem where you could bleed... and now you have a problem...
