Midlift - could I be a candidate at almost 72? (Photos)

I'm almost 72, and I understand that a midlift is appropriate for much younger women, but I had a lowerlift in 2018, which I think is still doing well. Could i be a candidate for a midlift?

Thank you for your inquiry regarding a mid facelift after a previous lower facelift. Based on your pictures, it is evident that you have upper and mid face sagging with brow ptosis, excess upper eyelid skin, cheek descent with prominent nasolabial folds. I cannot assess jowling or neck laxity in the photos presented. If you are not bothered by your upper face issues, you could certainly consider what you describe as a mid lift, but a better option would be to have a complete assessment to determine the best option for you. In most secondary facelift patients, addressing the cheeks without addressing the neck does not produce the best overall result and can look unnatural. Recovery is really no different between a mid lift and a full face and neck lift, but the results of taking a comprehensive approach will be worth it in the long run.
