Is Botox before a facelift normal?

I went in for a consult and the Surgeon wants me to come in two weeks before the surgery to apply Botox in my face. Is this normal? He also states on the paperwork that any revisions needed are an extra cost. I’m thinking that once the Botox wears off then you will Then see any potential symmetry problems

You are not a surgical candidate for any type of facelift as you are too young and the results would be poor. However, you may be a candidate for a lip lift. I do not recommend a bullhorn lip lift as it can result in the "bunny look" since it removes more central and nothing from the corners. ...
