I want a tummy tuck, BBL, lipo to my back arms, and inner knee. Would it be best to do a mommy make over? I’m 29 years old and no medical history. I used to weigh 245lbs and now weigh 180lbs and my height is 5’0. I have 2 children both by c-section. Last c-section in 2011.
Answer: Mommy Makeover Candidate First, congratulations on your weight loss; that is quite a feat. You would be a good candidate for a mommy makeover, which is a generic term used to describe a combination of surgical procedures that can improve body parts commonly affected by having children. This classically includes the breasts and abdomen, but can be different for each person. An abdominoplasty, liposuction and fat transfer to the buttocks (BBL) can be performed together. The closer you are to your ideal weight at the time of your surgery, the better your results will be (with a lower risk of complications).Meet with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your goals. Best of luck!

Answer: Yes this would be a good option Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photos I would say you are a great candidate for a mommy make over! An abdominoplasty would be performed to take off excess skin and fat from your abdominal area. You may add supplemental liposuction to remove fat in other areas to create a slimmer, tighter, and more contoured body. Also, a breast lift would be performed in order to lift your breast and create a beautiful and youthful shape. Please have an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Mommy Makeover Thank you for sharing your photos. Based on your photos and history I would recommend a full tummy tuck with muscle tightening combined with liposuction to the flanks, back, and inner knees. I would recommends staging the breast lift and arm liposuction by 6 months to allow yourself to completely heal. Consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Best wishes!

Answer: Mommy makeover may be right for you. Based on your photos, you look like a great mommy makeover candidate. Combining procedures in this manner can have a dramatic impact on your appearance and put the finishing touches on your weight loss efforts. There are a few things to consider regarding the timing of your procedure. First, have you reached your target weight? If so and you’ve been able to maintain this weight for at least a year, then you are ready to move forward with surgery. If not, you should wait until you have completed your weight loss efforts and have been able to maintain your target weight for a year before undergoing surgery. Second, you will want to talk to your plastic surgeon about whether it is more effective to complete these procedures in several stages. You are looking to undergo a fairly extensive amount of plastic surgery, so it may be more effective to have these procedures spread out over several months.

Answer: CONSIDER A WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM BEFORE TUMMY TUCK SURGERY. Hello MommyOfTwo89, It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! Based on your pictures I would recommend getting a VASER Liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks (Brazilian Butt Lift) done first, an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) 6 months after you’ve completely recovered from the initial procedure, and a brachioplasty, 3-6 months afterwards. Abdominoplasty is popular following massive weight loss. After a 3-staged Mommy Makeover, you will achieve firmer and slimmer arms and abdomen, along with a fuller, beautifully rounded backside. You are most likely a good candidate for a tummy tuck if you do not smoke, are in good health (your weight is stable and your Body Mass Index (BMI) is under 30), and you are finished having children. However, based on the figures you’ve shared about your height and weight, your BMI estimate is 35.2. I would anticipate that you must consider a weight loss program before undergoing tummy tuck surgery. Good luck and may God bless you! Dr. De La Cruz.
