Mommy makeover candidate? (Photo)

Question

I want a tummy tuck, BBL, lipo to my back arms, and inner knee. Would it be best to do a mommy make over? I’m 29 years old and no medical history. I used to weigh 245lbs and now weigh 180lbs and my height is 5’0. I have 2 children both by c-section. Last c-section in 2011.

First, congratulations on your weight loss; that is quite a feat. You would be a good candidate for a mommy makeover, which is a generic term used to describe a combination of surgical procedures that can improve body parts commonly affected by having children. This classically includes the breasts and abdomen, but can be different for each person. An abdominoplasty, liposuction and fat transfer to the buttocks (BBL) can be performed together. An abdominoplasty would be performed to take off excess skin and fat from your abdominal area. You may add supplemental liposuction to remove fat in other areas to create a slimmer, tighter, and more contoured body. There are a few things to consider regarding the timing of your procedure. First, have you reached your target weight? If so and you’ve been able to maintain this weight for at least a year, then you are ready to move forward with surgery. If not, you should wait until you have completed your weight loss efforts and have been able to maintain your target weight for a year before undergoing surgery.
  
Second, you will want to talk to your plastic surgeon about whether it is more effective to complete these procedures in several stages. You are looking to undergo a fairly extensive amount of plastic surgery, so it may be more effective to have these procedures spread out over several months.

complications.  I recommend you lose
additional weight to approximately 170 lbs before you undergo surgery.  For your breasts, I recommend The Bellesoma
Method to reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without
implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase
your cleavage.  Vertical scars are
avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained.  After this, I recommend abdominoplasty with

Thank you for your question. Based on your information and photos you appear to be a great candiate for a mommy makeover. I would recommend a breast lift with or without implants, a tummy tuck and a 360 liposuction along with brazilian butt lift to optmimize your overall shape.Combination procedures are safe and very effective in the right hands.  The surgeon has to be an expert in each procedure and must have a lot of experience in performing combination procedures and can minimize the operative time.  For example, we work in a team and would take around 4-5 hours for the complete operation.  This allows us to get better results with less surgical time and less trauma.  Our patients are typically wlking the same day and tapering off of pain medications by 4-5 days.  By a week, our internattional patients are generally touring around Cartagena enjoying the  sites of this UNSECO World Heritage City.  Patients progress to unrestricted activities by 2 months, just as the final results are settling in.

great candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction.  This can be done
through a low and short incision, all completely below the bikini line.  The belly button can be designed to look
natural and have no scars on the exterior. 
Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat abdomen.  A breast lift  with implants can be performed at the same
time for improved shape and contour of your breasts. Make sure you specifically
look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this
surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.  The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

MommyOfTwo89.  Congratulations on your weight-loss, however I would first continue on this track until you can lower your BMI closer to 30. This will allow your surgeon to be more aggressive with redundant skin removal and make the operation safer as well. At that point I would consider staging your mommy makeover. Do the BBL first, followed up six months later by the Tommy tuck and breast surgery. Again, a safer route. Be certain to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
