I had a revision facelift 1 year after my full face lift procedure to correct the loose skin under my chin and neck, but it seemed that it was not addressed properly because I still see it and on top of that my incision seem worse then my first surgery. My incision are along my hairline and around my ears and under my chin. I wanted a second opinion to see if this can be fixed as this was my main issue to fix when I wanted to do a facelift.
Answer: Residual platysma bands after neck lift Thank you for sharing your questions and photos. This is a very common problem. It looks like there are some mild platysma muscle banding. This can often be treated in the office under local anesthesia using an incision under the chin. It appears you may have already had some central neck surgery, perhaps in an attempt to improve these bands. However, You have some pleating centrally that may require addition skin elevation and repositioning as well as repositioning and suspension of the platysma muscle edges.

Answer: Facelift I wonder what work you had under your chin. Most surgeons address the bands under the chin and you still show one band. An in person exam would be necessary to determine what could be done.

Answer: Facelift revision I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing some concerns following your revision facelift procedure. It's understandable that you are seeking a second opinion to explore potential solutions to address your concerns. First and foremost, it's important to consult with a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon who can assess your specific situation and provide an expert opinion on the best course of action. You may want to consider finding a plastic surgeon who specializes in revision facelift procedures and has a proven track record of success in addressing similar issues. During your consultation, the plastic surgeon will evaluate your current condition and may recommend various options, such as a second revision facelift, a non-surgical approach, or a combination of both. It's important to have realistic expectations and understand that revision procedures may require additional time and recovery, as well as potential risks and limitations. In terms of your incisions, it's possible that the initial surgery may have caused scar tissue or other complications that impacted the healing process, leading to the appearance of more noticeable scarring after the revision procedure. However, there may be ways to improve the appearance of your incisions through scar revision techniques, such as laser therapy, steroid injections, or surgical revision. Ultimately, the decision to undergo a second revision facelift or explore other options will depend on your individual circumstances, goals, and the recommendations of your plastic surgeon. It's important to prioritize your safety and well-being and take the time to carefully evaluate all options before proceeding with any further procedures. I hope this helps, best of luck !
