Is having deep plane full face lift or midface lift every 10years (let’s say 4times in life time) bad? Dose it make face unnatural?
Answer: Additional Risk Hello, hope you are well. It is not uncommon to see patients seeking revision facelifts, but rarely a third or fourth procedure. With each procedure, additional risk is introduced into the risk-benefit 'equation' and the likelihood of having an unfavorable result or complication increases. The vascularity and blood supply will become a little more compromised with each procedure, and the risk of skin necrosis and scarring increases. But at the end of the day, the decision to proceed with revision work takes into account many individual factors including patient anatomy and behavior (smoking, etc). In reality, I find that patients patients seeking revision work often underwent an insufficient procedure in the first place (i.e. a skin excision and pull), and after undergoing a technically correct deep-plane lift results are satisfying and long-lived. Answer: Of course it destroys the face. The deep plane facelift with or without an endoscopic midface lift has the potential to destroy what is natural and wonderful about the face. Surgeons often underestimate the harm caused by these highly aggressive surgeries. Does anyone need them? Many who have these procedures simply feel for the slick marketing that often accompanies the "sales" process associated with the promotion of these aggressive procedures. Please understand that this type of aggressive work is not for everyone. These surgeries use up what we think of as natural about faces. Carefully study the long term effects of these surgeries not just what people look like 2 months after surgery when they are still swollen. Less is often more.

Answer: Facelift Hello ! Performing a secondary (or more) facelift is a more intricate process compared to a primary facelift due to the presence of scar tissue remnants and reduced skin thickness and elasticity, which pose additional challenges during the procedure. However, with the help of a very competent plastic surgeon, it is achievable to attain significant and authentic outcomes. All the best !
