Can the Halo laser be used on the neck and chest?

Halo is a tuneable laser where we can specifically adjust settings to what your  skin will require, especially in more delicate areas such as neck and chest. The dual hybrid Halo laser can safely treat the neck and chest areas for hyperpigmentation, reddness and crepey skin. The settings will be lowered for those areas. It's worth noting the neck and chest area will take slightly longer to rejuvenate compared to the face. Wear protective clothing and SPF over the treated areas for 2 weeks following the treatment.

Absolutely, it's great for the neck and chest.  Even better with BBL just before the same treatment to treat the pigmentation. .When treating these areas, it's best to be less aggressive with the BBL and HALO settings to minimize complications and for a better recovery.  You'll love your skin after the HALO to the neck and chest.

The Halo laser is an excellent laser to treat both the neck and chest.  The settings can be adjusted for the more delicate skin on the neck and chest, and still be very effective.  The Halo laser will even out skin tone, help with hyperpigmentation due to sun damage or age spots, stimulate collagen and improve the overall quality of the skin.

We love performing both BBL and Halo on non-facial areas for improvement of pigmentation/skin texture/skin quality/appearance and delaying/reversing signs of photo-aging.  Our recommended approach is to have a series of both BBL and Halo to the neck/chest (decolleté).  Once we've achieved desired results (usually 2-3 treatments in relatively close proximity), we recommend maintenance treatments to continue to improve skin quality over time (2 to 4 BBL per year and 1 Halo every 1 to 2 years, more frequent depending on patient goals).  Also - don't forget the hands, we see phenomenal results with hand BBL and Halo.

Thanks for the great question! You can absolutely have Halo to your chest and neck. I commonly perform it on patients such as yourself who what the benefits of Halo (improvement in skin texture, skin tone, and sun damage) on other areas of the body. Yes.  The HALO which combines the ablative and non ablative component to skin rejuvenation can and is often used to treat the neck and chest as well as the face.  The skin of the neck and chest generally is thinner such that the settings used are typically more conservative than that which would be used on the face.  The HALO because it can use an ablative and non ablative combined approach to the skin can assist with both rejuvenating the skin by reducing the superficial sun damage and pigmentation by removing the superficial layer while also tightening and building collagen on the deeper layer resulting in a smoother and tighter rejuvenated appearance.

The Halo laser is a great treatment option for sun damaged skin on the chest and neck.  Usually, more sessions are needed since the neck and chest have more sensitive skin and this need lighter treatments.  We combine our Halo treatments with the Forever Young BBL to get even better results.
