I received a Hal/bbl procedure combination on my face 3days ago. I now have considerable swelling underneath my chin. I only had a procedure done on my face so I'm a little concerned. In addition I have red bumps on all the areas that were treated. Are these two symptoms common?

Answer: Swelling post halo or halo/bbl its not uncommon to have swelling in the neck area after halo or halo/bbl. some patients swell more then others. nothing to worry about. the red bumps are probably reaction and you need to see the doc who performed the procedure

Answer: Bumps and Swelling after Halo First of, immediately contact your treating office and make sure they see at least pictures, and ideally you in person. The red bumps may be normal - during the healing, old, damaged collagen is pushed to the surface by healthy new skin - usually this sloughs off on day 4-6, but red bumps could also be a reaction to your post care skin care, clogged pores / acne or even an infection and it's really hard to say without a picture, or better yet, seeing you in person. Swelling is common in the first few days after Halo and can move down your face with the effect of gravity, but again, this should be looked at.
