I finally jumped in to get my first filler and I am thrilled with the result. I purchased two syringes of Belotero and had 1.6ml put into my tear troughs and .4ml put into my lips. I have very dark and sunken under eye circles, just lucky genetics, and this made such a intense difference to how dark, tired, and old it looked under there. I can't say enough good things about how much brighter it is under there! The doctor said in my case it would be best to do one syringe under my eyes at my first appointment, then wait a a week for it to settle and come back to get the rest. That way she could tell better how much difference the first syringe made and what more was needed. I got the under eyes touched up and my lips in my second appointment today. And for my lips, I only wanted a very little in there just to smooth the lips themselves for when I wear lipstick. (No concerns with wrinkles around my lips, no desire for more volume) They're still fairly puffy but they don't look fake at all. I'll be eager to see how they heal out. Overall the shots were a tiny bit painful, with my upper lip being the least comfortable, but really it was no big deal. Easy to power through.
Yesterday I went in for my first treatment. The doctor recommended three treatments, with two months between each, so that's the package I purchased. It will take half a year to a year to really see a difference so this review is mostly for the day-of. The procedure itself was somewhat painful, but there was an assistant cooling my scalp the whole time and I had ProNox, which made the whole thing feel like it took about two minutes. I highly recommend using ProNox if your doctor offers it, because I think the 10-15 minutes it actually took would have passed a lot more slowly and painfully without it. The doctor told me I was tough during the procedure but I bet she says that to all the girls :) After the injections, she microneedled the remaining plasma into my scalp. When I left the office, my hair was a half wet half crusty mess and there were a few small spots of blood from the needle around my hairline. Plan to go home for the night and not out into public. My scalp actively ached for only 1-2 hours after the procedure, and then it was only tender when touched. If you have to go into work the next day, you could, but don't plan to do anything too fancy to your hair because it is still tender the next day. I work at home and could have done this on a weekday and been back online the next day for video calls even wearing a headset. I imagine I will still be tender tomorrow and maybe the next day, but it's totally manageable. This was my first time working with Dr. Tsitsis and she had a fun bedside manner. She was reassuring the whole time and also satisfied my curiosity by talking through and showing me every step of the process. I also have to say, when I did the consult ahead of time I worked with Rebecca and she was incredible too. I've never before done sort of treatment like this, and she was patient in talking me through the best options for my skin and my concerns. I have several more procedures booked with Rejuvenation MD and I'm positive the rest of the women who work there will be just as great.
I can't recommend Dr. Tsisis enough! She is so talented and has a great eye with injectables. She takes her time and thoroughly explains and informs you so you can make the best decision on your treatment options. Besides this she is very warm and personable. She also tries to help you get any discounts or coupons available through various sources. I feel like she genuinely cares and loves making you feel better about yourself!
I am seeing Monica Vakil, MD, for a series of six light treatments to my face, and I’m currently half way through. The purpose is to reduce age spots/sun spots as well as diminish redness from blood vessels close to the surface. The treatments are very tolerable with absolutely no down time afterward. The dark spots temporarily get darker then slough off. I am seeing gradual improvements and expect further reduction in problem areas after the next three treatments. Dr. Vakil is very professional, knowledgeable and lets you know exactly what to expect. The facility is nice and the staff are all friendly and helpful. I am also using the recommended skin products, and my skin feels softer and moister than anything else I’ve used. So far I am very pleased with the results.
I choose coolsculpting after having a consultation at Rejuvenation MD. I have always hated the way my legs looked while wearing shorts. I workout several times a week and just could not get the results I wanted. After my first treatment I saw results after 6 weeks, I just finished my 2nd and final treatment and cannot wait to see the final results. The staff was exceptional, I feel very comfortable suggesting this office, as well as coolsculpting.
My experience at Rejuvenation Md is always good. Everyone is very kind. Dr Tsitsis always provides me with information so I can make a informed decision about what treatment I would like. Over the past 7years I have had Botox, CoolSculpting, lips and BBL done.
Love this place wonderful service, had a halo two weeks ago and I’m so happy with the results Love the skin care line. misty was so very friendly and helpful. I will be back to have a facial. I highly recommend rejuvenation MD.
Forever Young BBL: Improved my skin immensely in a week! More spendy than some facials but the results are worth it! Listened my sun spots and gave my skin a great jump start on healthier looking skin!
Dr. Tsitis took time with me this morning when I came in for a BBL. In addition to answering all of my questions regarding the procedure, we also talked about my other areas of concern, including my neck area, and she outlined the techniques to improve this area as well. She is very personable and gentle, and I look forward to my next treatment with her next month. The rest of the staff at Rejuvenation M.D. are always welcoming and friendly as well.
I am already thin, but have had a roll of fat around my upper hip that has made me think of a box of saltines instead a pear shaped hip. After seeing a great result with my husband's CoolSculpt, I tried it on my hip patches. I now have nice pear shaped hips! It is great! Clothing fits better and my husband loves my improved shape. This is one of several successful procedures I have done with Dr. Tsitsis and this will not be the last. I am just finishing work on my spider veins and looking forward to a few more tweaks so I can look and feel good as time goes by.
For spider and varicose veins, many offices will charge by the syringe if doing sclerotherapy or by time if using a laser. There would be no reason to charge for skin type. Hope that helps.
For your skin type, I would strongly recommend using medical grade skin care products such as ZO or Epionce. For ZO, Exfoliating Cleanser, Exfoliating Polish (which is a scrub), Complexion Renewal Pads, Instant Pore Refiner and Renewal Cream is a great regimen. For Epionce, the Lytic Gel Cleanser, Lytic Sport, and Renewal Lite Lotion with Purifying Spot Gel for break outs is another great regimen. Having regular in office treatments such as yearly Halo (this is a fantastic procedure for pores), monthly BBL Forever Young treatments, HydraFacials or even chemical peels. All of these can help. Make sure you find an office you trust and establish a relationship with a good esthetician.
Plasma pen does not cause scar tissue. It can treat scars even. I would make sure you see someone who is experienced in Plasma Pen and does not have a "knock off" pen they are using on you.
Thank you for sending your pictures, they really help in answering this question. It seems that your main issue is one of skin elasticity and not fat. You could Coolsculpt the arms but typically we treat the under arm and not the front. The problem you don't like is that our skin is sagging there and you would benefit more from microneedling or Skin Tyte than CoolSculpting to get the result you want. Maybe you would need both. Hard to say. As for the front of your legs, this is the same issue which is one of skin sagging, perhaps some cellulite. You cannot do CoolSculpting on the top of the thighs. A leg lift is a surgical option, or Skin Tyte, microneedling, Plasma pen and Z wave are all other options that would help here. Good luck.
I do not believe Kybella causes paroxysmal hyperplasia. This can happen from Coolsculpting, that is correct, but not common. Sounds like maybe some fat was killed but there is still more to get. Maybe you didnt have enough Kybella. I would recommend seeing a provider you trust to get their opinion in person.
